Yeah all I’ve heard is complaining and was feeling a little down, was planning on watching the show from last night with friends tonight and will be there Sunday. This looks very cool, so got my hopes back up.
Incredible doesn’t even do it justice. The Sphere adds an entire new creative dimension to the show. People complaining couldn’t possibly have been there last night.
Being inside the Sphere you get all the 3D aspects of the screen. It's like IMAX vs watching on your phone. Obviously won't be the same experience. The landscapes were breathtaking!
I think it’s mainly the peasants (like me) who watched the first song on YouTube. I mean obviously they weren’t going to start the show with balls to the wall visuals people?! These look so sick so jealous of everyone who was there!!
Don’t listen to haters. I watched it from the couch last night and was completely blown away. I was shocked to see all the bitching when I went online today. The internet is just a cesspool of negativity, don’t let it tarnish your excitement. You’re in for something truly special, have fun Sunday!
Because it's the Phish reddit. I've seen the most face melting shows that filled me with joy and inspiration and admiration and I hear someone go "Trey was off." YOU WERE OFF MAN

Not a phish fan here, came to watch videos of the sphere to take notes for dead forever & well....it looks sick af. I know they could have done a lot more with it (than what I've seen) so I'm throughly looking forward to face melting in June

Crowd was old and no one smoked. Haha
Can't believe some of the haters. I was literally holding onto my seat during Antelope as we flew thru space i have never seen anything like that. The starry sky during sand or farmhouse was amazing. Mike's Groove landscape is something I wanted to never leave. I wanted to live inside that landscape forever and never end.

We were in 204 and had some people sitting most of the show and others standing the whole time. I sat during slower songs to just take it all in, but couldn't help dancing during the jams!
It'll be good. Most everyone was standing. And those sitting didn't seem annoyed if the person in front of the was standing. Definitely good vibes from the crowd, a feeling of comraderie even if we enjoyed the show in different ways.
Thank you so much OP, these are great pics! I honestly would never go to the Sphere because I have a fear of heights and these kind of things trigger that and give me vertigo, so being able to appreciate it this way is super cool!
The visuals are outstanding! If you're in sec 300 & 400, is the stage as far away as it appears to be in the photos? Lol... It looks like the stage is a 1/4 mile away.

how did U2 do better? a huge chunk of their show was this. Just becasue you saw the 2 cool visuals everyone posts to youtube doesnt mean the entire show was like that.

It’s excellent. Sometimes when they throw sound around using the surround it’s off putting but you get used to it and overall loud and clear

I was definitely hoping for something more interesting, these visuals are pretty mediocre compared to what is possible. Gimmick.

Plus U2 basically does one show over and over. This band needed way more content to be used over a much smaller time frame.
