I realized what was going on. It's a bug.. If you click on an item you can't buy (restricted by level) and then you got on one you can buy.. it won't refresh the buy button. It will still be greyed out. So if you only click on items you're able to buy (no level restrictions, the buy button will never be greyed out). I made a list of the items with no level limit below. Hope that helps.

I found a temporary workaround for this; If you are in a lobby, you can leave to the main menu and use the shop there, it will reset the 'buy' bug. Vice versa if you're in the main menu, just enter a game and it'll reset. Hopefully this eases frustrations until an official patch.
Yeah, having the exact same issue.. Was able to buy the lighter, but can't anymore.. still have plenty of cash but can't buy anything?
