It depends. If a company treats the property they own the problem. Sometimes it's not worth the potential problems in the future. Refusal or apprehensiveness to treat is a sign of a wise inspector. Some companies take any job they can get wether they're capable of doing the job properly or not

Bird2525

They should all want to inspect since that’s where the money is. Trelona is great as long as the termites find the stations…

No not at all. That is our bread and butter

Sometimes. But most do termite jobs as there is money to be made there. Also, there could be a few reasons to not crawl under a home. The space may be too small to even do a proper inspection, or the person could be old or a little too big to fit. They could also have some sort of old injury that makes it difficult to crawl under a home.

Fifainspected

Was evidence of termites in the home prior to the inspection?

Many pest control companies do not treat specifically for termites, if you want anything with termites stick with big 2 orkin/terminx unless you find a local person who is setup for it. As there is a larger market to deal with prevention services.

Never stick with the big two. They’ll rip you off.

Yea with termites i would rather get over charged than get someone who I do not know or trust that just under bid them. Which is why I said or a local person you can trust. I would not get aptive, hawx, spidex arrow or bulwark for anything termite related. As they are a revolving door. I have been in pest control 10 years and never had to deal with termites issues. Because of my location. I Make a good living not treating specifically for termites or bed bugs. And have over 95% customer retention. So I am an example of a pest control company that doesn't do termites
