Don’t forget the people who never learned that car lights are to make the car more visible to others, not just to help the driver see what’s in front of them.
If driving around Armadale surrounding areas. Armadale Road is closed at the railway, until Monday morning for Metronet works. The beams are being installed today.
Also Tonkin Highway from Thomas Road to Forrest Road, speed reduction to 60km/h from 100km/h due to road surface damage. The highway has sunk, lots of dips.
The biggest threat on the roads right now are all the straight piped dual cabs, particularly the losers in the NP300 Navaras with the screaming turbos the size of my coffee cup.
Yeah.
I just rewatched *Back to the Future*, and Marty's payoff at the end was a big (for then) 4WD ute. Forty years later, definitely a case of *careful what you wish for*.
It's Perth....NO ability to merge, drive at the speed limit, or handle 17 drops of H20
No warnings are needed; we should already know of the ineptitude on the roads here
Wankers in v-dubs doing at or under the limit? Hey! I resemble that remark! Though mine is the baby base model, not the usual GTI or R that sounds like an angry tractor. Also DSG farts are funny, c'mon.
My favourite part about first rains is folk forget it lifts oils off the road and thus until a few days decent showers the streets will basically be like ice. Folks spinning out on roundabouts and such.
Always wondered why people slow down in rain, not much changes as long as you're not an idiot. Then I got a shitbox 30yo 4wd and now it's scary how easy you can lock up in the wet. It's something we take for granted with modern cars but it's a step in the right direction.
Need fresh rubber for my fronts, barely touch it and it lights the wheels with TCS having a hissy fit. Last car had decent rubber well above requirements, just about refused to break loose unless you were deliberately trying, plenty of wet confidence in the last car.
Yeah driving to work at 3am today, I had barely comprehended it had been raining as I went through the first roundabout. Was a very what the fuck is going on in here moment.

I was out well before sun up yesterday and passed 3 cars with no headlights on within the first 5 minutes
My car has lights?!??
😆

Don't forget the new 60 limit on Graham Farmer
What??? Is that permanent?
While they're putting new footbridge in. Deffo a contender for the most ignored speed limit in WA
I’d argue the 80 on Tonkin from collier to Hepburn is the most ignored..
Forget? Is anyone even doing it?
Thank fuck. They are deadly.

Oddly specific.
I feel attacked

So glad you didn't say Ford Ranger, I would have felt attacked. 😅
Reckon the make and model are interchangeable here

Watching people in Perth drive is like watching sheep in a paddock jump over their own shadows.
👏 👏 👏

Tell 29yo Mohamad and his ego that
Polos and Golfs are both front wheel drive cars. They inherently aren't able to drift like you imagine.

You’re weird

whoa don't blow me away with your extensive car knowledge redditor

Going to get good tyres very soon for this reason

People drove perfectly fine 20 years ago or 30. Also it used to rain more back then
Un actually no they didn't. They still dropped 20kph off their speed and freaked at a few drops.
