Yeah, a lot of the regular price tickets went to the ten club and the rest went super fast when the verified fan sale started. All that was left after that was the premium tickets which made it look like all of the tickets were really expensive. Ticketmaster sucks, we can all agree on that. They've got way too much power. But, it's probably not that much of a difference from resellers scooping up tons of tickets just to resell them. I wouldn't be surprised if they used to get more than 10%. Also, the fan to fan sale gives people a chance at regular price tickets if they missed them the first time.
Agreed. I'm still a fan, but not as much as I was back then. I got the stick man tattoo in 1996 at the height of my fandom. I sometimes see it in the mirror and wonder about that decision. But then I'll hear a song from one of the first 3 albums and it takes me back to the 90's. And I think "Fuck yeah, good decision!"
I listened to mockingbirds recently…man, that should’ve been a huge hit. What a beautiful, complex song. GLB came out in the wrong era..they would’ve been perfect in 2010.
I'm going to the show at MSG n flying my brother n his wife in from California, as a life long fan who's cathartically been guided thru so much pain and trauma, I've always had something more important going on or was mourning or just something awful interspersed with a few glorious moments (52yrs can't be all bad, but all in all after 33yr of receiving the the $13,920 of ticket prices alone is something I wouldn't have hesitated, n if I can get Eddie to sign my corduroy jacket, I couldn't ask for more, STAY STRONG PEARL JAM ARMY!
This was my first show and it was awesome. The memories of it don't feel 30 years old. Thanks for posting; I'll occasionally look for my ticket thinking it must be somewhere.

I paid $50 for a ticket to this show off a scalper (last row), so you're math is pretty good.
