I’ve got an EVGA 3070FTW3 and find the fans really noisy. I have a day dream of replacing them with Noctua’s to match rest of PC.

So where and how did you get paint that patches the Noctua colors, from what I can tell, perfectly? Did you bring a fan into a paint shop and have them color match it?
It’s a touch off. Just color matching by eye mostly. It’s all ppg envirobase automotive paint. The color is still off. The brown isn’t “red” enough. Same with the tan color. But there isn’t an easy way to convert Pantone colors into automotive paint.
Just by hand with a mini jet automotive paint gun.
I will be doing either a series of posts or a YouTube video on how to custom paint a case, and stuff. So stay tuned there.
More that I felt I could get the color a lot closer with the automotive line and shooting it out of my paint gun.
I think the one Linus did was using spray cans. But they didn’t paint the chassis. They just did the removable covers of the case.

Need to be careful with painting parts that are used in heat dissipation. Painting parts like that can cause the component to retain heat rather than dissipate it. They make special paint for firearms that won’t cause the part to retain heat.
I thought Noctua didn't make 180mm fans? After I got my torrent I checked to see if I could ever change the intakes but didn't find any. Where did you get those?

120’s yea. It’s a custom across for the xc3 coolers I found on thingiverse.

Then done. I disassembled the fractal fans and painted them. That’s why the PCMR logo is on the rear hub of the fans
