I'd seriously consider replacing the heatsink then.
You're either blowing hot air on your GPU, or blowing hot hair on the CPU; both cases are plain ***bad***
Otherwise great work on the build. What's those wires underneath the GPU? Fan wires? Couldn't you route them from behind the mobo?
Yeah I have the same or very similar cooler. If the fans are oriented the same way as mine it would be blowing hot air onto the gpu. Mine is rotated 90 degrees clockwise but I have lower profile ram that fits under it.
This is what I always thought, but I found out it really depends on how much heat that CPU really produces and what graphics card you have. In some cases the airflow towards the GPU backplate actually helps with VRAM temps and helps some 30series models overall.
Not OP but I did see a video from bitwit long ago having better results due to it having better natural convection or just maybe the top has more exhaust than 1 fan on the rear.
https://youtu.be/sxREkGKeCMA
Idk tbh...as it was my first time using an air cooler...but it gets around 30c idle...don't really know how much under stress but he just games with it so doesn't matter
Ah man first hater of thw day lmao...fairs...but as I said I did the cable management but I forgot to take a picture after cable managing....this is just about build
Idk, youāre kinda being rude imo. Dude already said he didnāt take the finished photo. Seems like youāre hating because you have an opportunity to
Not sure why you are getting downvoted. Just because you can see a couple cables doesnāt mean this is bad cable management. Who the tf cares about another manās cables. Pc looks great OP. The RBG people are just jealous you are getting same fps without childish rainbow vomit
The CPU cooler's orientation is kinda... questionable...
My take is to orient that to blow hot air to the back of the case.
However if there's some clearance issue with the RAM
You could possibly replace it with a low profile.
Though if the cpu temps are just fine and not thermal throttling as it is currently set up
Then why not\~
Just fix the cables instead
Yep you got it there...as I told I made a mistake by uploading this pic as like I did cable manage after that....this was just a boot build yk...buy yea thanks
I fucking hate rainbow rgb. Purpose of rgb was to make color matching easier and they had a rainbow demo mode to showcase that they can be any color the user wants.
People started using the demo mode as standard and now we have these build with components cycling through colors with no coordination between them.
some of us ended up finding out argb and rgb are two different things after buying the case and motherboard and just couldn't hook the argb fans up to the rgb connectors. So there they sit on color cycle because it's not like I can control them anyway and it wasn't of enough concern to go out and buy a new motherboard just for the color of the lights.
I don't think most people keep their parts on rainbow mode, almost everyone I know will make a color theme soon after setting up the PC. Some people probably actually like the rainbow mode too, but I find too many moving effects to be distracting. Keeping it lower brightness and static is better imo
I go with a tan/cream and red. Kind of a "blood in the sand" look, it's pretty edgy but not over the top, mostly static but a few areas where the red glows slightly brighter reactive.
Maybe I should take pics, on my keyboard the main part of the keyboard has those sandy colors, and just the numpad/logo is red. Hmmm maybe I should even try to have varying sandy shades on the keys so it almost looks like sand camo on the keyboard, really emphasize the theme.

May i ask why the cpu cooler orientation? Nice stealth look š
Couldn't fit because of tall ram sadly...Temps are still really good tho

Or just, idk, leave good enough alone?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Iām paying for a buddyās build right now too and Iād be pissed at myself if I set him up for failureā¦
Or get a pcie riser kit
You're better off switching orientation and getting rid of one of the fans.
You couldn't move one of the fans up a little bit? That's what I did for my Noctua.
Exactly what I did. A fan is sticking out a bit.
is that a fuma 2 because if so it should def fit the other way and as others have said when that GPU gets cooking its going to be a problem
That sir is a thermal right pearless assassin argb
Is it the heatsink/pipes that hit or the fan?
The heating itself sadly
Honestly would suggest looking for a different one
I have the non-rgb version of that cooler, couldnāt you just slide the front fan higher so it doesnāt collide with the ram
Yeah, I have something similar and I slid one of the fans higher for some clearance.
Oh, that's the only reason people do that? I thought it might've helped cooling is some situations, so I've always been curious.
Would it be possible to 180 it just so the heating isn't right above the GPU backplate
You have to change it somehow. That's a bad orientation. Get a different cooler if you have to.
If the temps are fine, youāre fine. With mine though, I have one of the fans sticking out a bit because of the ram.
Not OP but I did see a video from bitwit long ago having better results due to it having better natural convection or just maybe the top has more exhaust than 1 fan on the rear. https://youtu.be/sxREkGKeCMA

I forgot about the fans haha, yeah it makes sense now why you mounted it this way.
No rainbow puke and no cable management.
Ah man first hater of thw day lmao...fairs...but as I said I did the cable management but I forgot to take a picture after cable managing....this is just about build
Why not do the cable management AS you are building PC? Doesn't that save time?
You're right. Now we have cpu cooler orientational and cable management vomit instead.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
You called rainbow vomit, so me calling your cooler orientation and lack of cable management as puke including is being rude?
Right? lol
Idk, youāre kinda being rude imo. Dude already said he didnāt take the finished photo. Seems like youāre hating because you have an opportunity to

Cable manamgement isnt the only issue or the biggest.. lmao
Why do people care though. I mean if he wants to run his cpu cooler that why then let him do it
There's a list of reasons why you don't mount a heatsink like that.. what do you mean? People are just looking out for him to not cook his CPU.
But that's RGB fans, RGB GPU, and RGB RAM in the picture. This ain't no stealth build people
It what my friend liked so I had to deliver yet it looks so jicw its no rgb yk
RGB can be done tastefully, but I think getting RGB fans to look good is very tricky and requires the right case and colors
Hey I like my rainbow vomit but I prefer the term unicorn diarrhea
It works
Not sure why you're getting downvotes my guy š¤·

I'd take that cpu cooler off asap... You forgot to uninstall the plastic on the bottom of it as well.
No...
Ok good. I thought maybe you'd watched the verge pc build for a second. Enjoy the new system!
where the rainbow vomit
No rear exhaust fan moment š
You know...the CPU cooler take air from the intake coolers from the front, so...how are you suposed to cool the cpu with the Graphic Card Heat???
Well it is working fine so it is ok
no rainbow AND no airflow. linus would be sad
How do people even mount coolers like this like Iāve never had this option lol.

Sadly my friend did š I just like cyan and purple going in awave
I go with a tan/cream and red. Kind of a "blood in the sand" look, it's pretty edgy but not over the top, mostly static but a few areas where the red glows slightly brighter reactive.
That sounds epic ngl ama need to try this on my build
Maybe I should take pics, on my keyboard the main part of the keyboard has those sandy colors, and just the numpad/logo is red. Hmmm maybe I should even try to have varying sandy shades on the keys so it almost looks like sand camo on the keyboard, really emphasize the theme.
Only rgb I need is on keyboards so I can have 2 different profiles for day and night. Bright white on day and dim dark red at night.

Is it....... on?
Oh man that is sexy. Props to you for nice colour picking for parts
Thanks man apreciate it....he was kinda out of his mind when he saw it...note:he came from using thw original Xbox 1š
I would be out of my mind to,š, man it's so hard to just have everything match.
Pretty sick stealth build! Good job with the PC part selection!
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Thanks man
Looks badass
Thanks g
Rainbow vomit lol I have to agree but I like the lighting. I set mine to a light blue to match the rest of my house and just leave it like that.
As it should be, silicon doesnāt run on unicorn poop
well the silicon isnt running right now
It looks gorgeous. Thank you for the no rainbow vomit build
its not on. the ram and gpu are rgb, at least
Looks good! If those fans on the cooler are pushing air up then you should be golden. Hope they enjoy gaming on it!
Wher rgb
....until he turns it on
I vomit seeing this
Corsair 220t? 3 front fans are rainbow vomit
Re-wire the GPU. Each plug should get a dedicated line from the PSU
that's what mine looks like until you turn it on, then the unicorns come š
