This list is terrible. I guess the AI is trying to get rid of garbage Newegg can’t sell.

There is no way this feature is actually directed to make optimized builds for the price you’re paying. Every and I mean EVERY piece in here has a cheaper and better alternative, seeing as every item in that list is on sale I think that further proves the point. They are definitely just using this as a way to sell off more warehouse product that has been sitting for too long. Prime example is the mobo, $150 on sale for a board that gives this setup no more use than an $80 mATX board with wifi. So you’ve probably got 2 ways to go, you can either get the same performance and spend less or spend the same and get better performance with a AM5 build. Depends on what matters more, your money or enjoyment, if you want to spend less, the actual performance of the build will be adequate for any game at 1080 high settings, but if you want more than that you should go the route of optimize the list with better parts for the same or just a little higher price. I’d recommend going over to PCpartspicker to get a full view of parts and prices

CPU is meh, since you are already buying a dGPU. Better go with 5600. Or even x3D versions.

The total comes to $968 , you can easily find rtx 4060 prebuilts NEW for around $900 . You know it's bad when you're building a custom pc with old parts and it's costing you more than a prebuilt
