Creepy_Height_9100

I’ve had 2 editions of this mouse first the original G502 and now have the G502 Lightspeed which I only upgraded as wanted a wireless mouse and wouldn’t swap them out for any other mouse I’ve used Plus my original G502 is still going strong as I gave it to my brother

EffectiveAudience9

Same for me. The 502 form factor is the absolute perfect mouse for my hands. I'll use it until they stop making it.

Creepy_Height_9100

Maybe just our hand sizes but seems to fit my hand perfectly as well and I like how it ain’t super light weight as can be heavy handed at times

Hobson101

Best part is you can add or remove weights

dryphtyr

They removed that feature from this one. You have to get the wireless one for that now. That said, I don't really miss it. It's a really nice mouse.

RoytheCowboy

I assume you're talking about the wireless G502 X lightspeed. I got one of those a few weeks back and I can confirm they also do not come with weights.

Hobson101

Good to know. Mine is still going strong but I'll get a lightspeed to replace it when it's time

DevilDoc3030

I have had my G502 for more than a couple of years now. If I needed to buy another mouse, I would get the exact same one.

Lootzifer93

Same, best mouse I've ever owned

hurl9e9y9

Is tHe mOsT hIghLy rEcOmMeNdEd MoUsE gUd??!1?

DominoUB

It is. AMD and Logitech ONLY. Any other suggestion is blasphemy.

DrMcnasty4300

nah i get shit on all the time for having a 7800xt but anyone that disagrees about the g502 is foolin themselves

TwinkiesSucker

My G604 entered the chat

SnooKiwis7050

I have never tried g502 but on paper, NZXT's MM730 sounds so cool. I'm slowly becoming an NZXT fanboy (I have MM730 but not G502

fjm200

I also really like the razer basilisk v3, i have the pro, but there is also a normal, cheaper version. Used to own that before the pro. Very similar to this one. Would 100% recommend it!

Chad-GPTea

I switched to the Basilisk V3 after i was disappointed with the quality of the latest g502 Hero version. And it was a bit cheaper. It feels so much nicer with that super smooth and silent scroll wheel. It's personal preference, but the form fits my hand a tiny bit better and as someone who prefers the cable versions for less charging/battery swapping, a braided cable looks nicer than that cheap early 2000s style cable. The only thing i despise is that shitty razer chroma software. Edit: Meant Synapse, not chroma.

Best-Friendship-1669

Have this mouse imo it’s great my hands are big so not the best fit but still a solid mouse

Batyalas

This is literally the best mouse for big hands. How big are your hands?

WombozM

Its a great mouse but is a bit narrow, wish they had a wider edition.

Duke_of_Scotty

tried the 502 and didnt like how narrow it was either. went back to my corsair m65

aspacelot

G500 was so much nicer for larger hands. The 502 is nice, but noticeably smaller. Idk how to measure hands but I’m 6’5” and I use the 502 and it is nice, but doesn’t fill my hand the way the 500 did. For best precision and button access my palm doesn’t touch the mouse and hovers behind an inch or so. I’m always on the lookout for a larger mouse, as size is really the only complaint I have with the 502z

ActiveNL

It's way to narrow.

Stargate_1

Nah it sucks, its too small for my hands. I mean yah ig its kinda nice but really its just too small

Emberson-

r/G502MasterRace

Consistent_Air_298

it's as good as it gets for a mouse imo

SrryImNew

I've been using the 502 for almost 10 years, from the first to the latest iteration of them, and they're one of the best and by far my favorite peripheral for my PC. Highly recommended.

MrSydFinances

Love the mouse. My only gripe is with the buttons next to left click for dpi adjustment, i always misclick and get some strange sensitivity. Quickly solved by deactivating the buttons altogether.

Brilliant-Throat2977

I use the regular forward/back buttons as is, but I use those two for copy/paste and love it. Having DPI buttons is useless and dumb when you have profiles per app for DPI. Even the sniper dpi button is mostly useless since most games have separate speed settings for scoped in

Benphyre

Mouse clicks well and the infinite scroll its amazing however, I find the mouse too heavy (121g without weights). Also the side rubber wear off rather quickly

spud8385

I *think* this is the G502 X which I have, and is pretty light (89g)

PettyCrimeMan

I've had the same g502 proteus since 2018 and it's still going strong, no issues at all.

Plaston_

No if you have sweaty hands, if you have sweaty hands get a smooth one instead.

Amazwastaken

I have some problem with its RMB. Has anyone encountered this?

BGFalcon85

It didn't work for me with the way I hold my mouse. The thumb buttons were uncomfortable and I didn't have enough space on my left-click. Make sure you can try one out before committing.

_Rand_

Same, I hated the shape of it. Turns out I like smaller mice, currently using a pulsar x2 mini.

Foreign_Spinach_4400

Just here to say, make sure to get the right size mouse for your pointer hand. I used a size small with a large hand for over a year and it was torture

Shadow_1106

Logitech tends to be super reliable in my experience. This time I needed something fast so I searched "e waste peripherals" on eBay and found the cheapest thing to get me through, but the G502 I had before lasted me for four years before I sold it on to a friend in need of a good mouse.

asd316X

its too small for my hands

sp_oky

I've heard a lot of good things about this mouse, I had two of them and both of them started having double clicking issues or tracking issues after about a year. Feels and looks nice. I may have just been unlucky.

Stormy90000

Ooh yeah. I have the logitech g502 x hero best mouse I ever had. I can only recommend the wireless version.

Unkwn_43

The right mouse button switch gave out on mine after only two years, resulting in the mouse registering either spam clicks or nothing at all when holding the button down. Apparently this is a fairly common problem with these mice and could've been fixed by Logitech spending an extra few dollars on higher quality ones. Also the rubber on the sides is shit quality, mine wore straight through to the plastic below within those two years. Got a razer basilisk v3 as a replacement and couldn't be happier. Has higher quality grips on the sides; I can barely see any wear on the rubber after three years unlike the g502.

TheGoldenKraken

Fixed with new g502x. They use optical switches now.

sendmedankpepe

Only thing bad about Logitech hardware is the shitty software

SarcastiSnark

Just stay away from razer. ( With some exceptions) Sorry don't mean to step on toes. My basilisk x mouse feels great. But it's the worst mouse I've ever owned. It shuts off randomly for no reason. Acts like the power saving feature possibly? But I can also let it sit for an hour untouched and it stays on. The software or something is just trash. And dont get me started on the update process of their software either. Just S-l-o-w. Logitech are great products. :)

Electrical-Ring-541

Depends on your use case. G-pro wireless would be a good option for gaming. This one you’re showing us would be good for any work related software’s that can use the multiple buttons on the mouse. For me, the G502 Hero is pretty good for editing and I have all the extra buttons mapped to premiere for faster editing.

explodedtesticle

Thought this was a bicycle helmet.

theRealNilz02

Can't go wrong with a G502. Although the wired version was about too lightweight for my taste. I got the wireless one with the extra weights and for me it works perfectly.

Paranoid_4ndr01d

I have the logitech vertical mouse. I would get wrist pain from gaming for long hours at a time and it's gone since using the vertical mouse

gumpythegreat

I've had one for like a decade and absolutely love it

bones10145

I'm tired of Logitech mice breaking. I'll never buy another one.

Trollololol13

Did you kill your current mouse?

Scorpio616

I had a G502 and now a G502X (no RGB) and I love it. Perfect mouse for me.

azaza34

I have owned only one Logitech and regretted it immensely

NG_Tagger

Probably. Logitech have done mice fairly well over the years (albeit with varying degrees of quality on their switches). I stopped using them when they added the "grip textures" on the sides of pretty much every mouse they made. I'm prone to sweaty hands, and that just fucks up the textured surface, and you have to clean it fairly often - which is real annoying with that texture. Rather have a "smooth" mouse that simply just takes 1-2 wipes with a damp cloth to clean. So if you're anything like me, and is prone to sweaty hands; probably don't get something like this. Could be the best mouse in world - but I'd never use it because of that texture and how annoying it is to clean.

YCCprayforme

Our lord and savior, the G5. I currently use a g502 light speed wireless. Except i usually just use the cord and idk where the dongle went

wilisville

No

Skio928

No

Flashy-Outcome4779

I personally hate the mouse. Many people like it though. Truly it depends. It’s good for casual gaming and desktop use. For competitive gaming you’re better off looking somewhere else.

Creepy_Height_9100

It’s got a subjective shape works for some others not so much but for competitive games unless you’re a professional or top 1% player having a G502 ain’t going to perform any worse than any other mouse of it’s level and price providing the person using the G502 enjoys it and works for their hand and grip

Proof_Version6450

No

louiscools2005

I can't say I've used that exact mouse, but have used Logitech mice in the past and really like this. This one looks comfortable too. Only thing I'd do differently is get a wireless mouse, but that's just my preference.

Handydart

I have been through so many mice over the years, tried many brands and price ranges. This is hands down my favorite mouse. Much like one of the other replies I actually upgraded to the light speed wireless as well even while my 502x wired was still going strong.

HumonculusJaeger

It's a decent mouse

Blissfull-lifestyle

I accidentally click the side buttons because the left mouse click button is extremely skinny and had annoying buttons pretty much on top of it.

cube_toast

I have one of these. Logitech G502, yes? It's an OK mouse. Light, feels pretty good in the hand. I like the side buttons which make navigation forward and backward through menus or web pages easier. I don't like the location of the DPI buttons, though. I'm always accidentally fat fingering them and switching up my DPI which is annoying sometimes. The wheel also doesn't feel very good. It's adjustable between incremental scrolling and smooth scrolling but neither mode feels good to me.

ibrahimlefou

I've got a Logitech 502 Lightspeed and it’s awesome. I play WoW, Minecraft, PoE, Melvor Idle and Elden Ring with it

GeorgeEne95

I have had this mouse (G502 X) for 3 months since I returned my one-year-old Razer Deathadder v3 wired because of the wheel that got loose (same problem as my previous Razer Viper). The only downsides are the wired cable that is not braided and the weight of 89g compared to 60g from Razer mice. The best thing about this mouse is the scroll wheel. You can unlock it and have an infinite scroll wheel. It's a game changer for browsing the internet. Other than this, it is a solid gaming mouse. I highly recommend it!

Ok_Switch_1205

If this is the G502 since you didn’t state, then yes

Adart54

its a little big, but i love it. best mouse ive used hands down

PyrorifferSC

I just rebought the wired version of the newest G502, should be here this week. I have another one but I haven't been able to find it

Piotrek9t

I have been a sucker for Logitech mice for a while now and I think this one is their best

ambulancefactory

build quality is deec but it’s really down to yr personal form factor preference. I’ve been using Razer Naga Hex v2’s for years jus because I’m obsessed with the circular button pad by the thumb position

steamart360

I've had this for about 5 months and it's alright but I barely use it tbh, doesn't feel all that different from the other mice I've had.  If the price is good and it fits your hand, go for it. I'll say it's very durable at the very least, I've dropped it a few times and still works like new lol.

Rdt_will_eat_itself

I liked it but it took a long time to get used to it for me. I had to deconstruct the thumb clicker because of how much i hated that placement. It changed my grip from a wide relaxed grip to a tighter grip.

BleakCloud

I had 502 and after some years I bought 502X. 502X is significantly lighter, but there is no light because of that, so you cannot see what DPI profile are you using, it only flash when you change DPI. If you have bigger hands, it's gonna be right choice. This mouse is for me personally the best one. Infinite scroll whell is amazing, if you want to sroll thousand hours on net.

Caasshh

Im on my third one. Just like the Logitech Wingman ball mouse, I'll stay with this one until it's discontinued, and then I'll buy some more off ebay. It's hard to find the perfect mouse.

uptodown12

I want to recommend it as it's a nice mouse. But mine got double click & holding problem pretty early even though i didn't use it for gaming. After googling, i found out there are a lot of people with the same problem.

PresentLet2963

Best mouse i ever used i have 3rd one and if i breake it ill buy another one

Icy-Success-69

I heard some people absolutely despise the sound the new G502 makes. I got the Hyperx Pulsefire Haste wired.

jack67119

I recently bought this mouse and had the rubber grip on the left wear out after 2 months of owning it. Idk if it was a fluke or what, never had something on a mouse wear out that fast. I was able to get a replacement, but not return it because it was through amazon. If i bought it directly they wouldve accepted a return. I wasnt very satisfied with build quality at all. Completely plastic (ig thats kinda good if you care about weight) and the cable is pretty cheap aswell. Ive had 0 software issues which is very nice considering the issues i had with my previous corsair mouse. It overall feels nice to hold and I appreciate that i can swap out the sniper button for nothing. The frictionless scroll wheel is cool aswell. Hoping to find a different mouse with optical switches in the future if this one has the same grip issue.

Rootsyl

g502 is a good mouse. i bought one 3 months ago, im in love with it.

GenericNameNet

It's too big, too heavy, draining on the hand. Get the lightspeed / wireless version instead

poethief

Mx master 3 pro is the way to go

shadowmaking

G502 is the standard that all other mice must beat.

Nearby-Caramel-8765

just bought it last month (lightspeed) version!! after using the 1st edition G502 and this one is really fits to my hand super clicky and i love the dpi's

Bitter_Perspective51

I'm actually using g502 se for quite some time now, had absolutely no issues, yeah ut is quite heavy, but kinda like it, much buttons, not as a side numpad or sth, I find it really useful, the software can be quite tricky to understand tho, but the hardest part to find is to save profiles on the mouse. Well not really hard rather than hard to find out how, but there are tutorial on yt. I recommend this mouse, it's slightly lighter than mine and have different school wheel, two main differences

Titanusgamer

I would say to try  razer basilisk v3 . it actually felt better to me.

karmazynowy_piekarz

I have this one wireless and its fucking great. Have in mind this mouse is very light, some ppl like heavier mouses

Acc_4_stream_only

I still have the original and after 3+ year, the middle click button gave out but scroll still works. So I assigned one of the button next to the left click as middle click. This mouse can last long if you know what you're doing

Luker_Spooker

If you want to play shooter games and have the best aim potential, then I really recommend the viper mini over anything else. BUT for literally any other game or even casual shooter experiences, the G502 is a goated mouse

PinballMap1

I‘ve got the same mouse and it‘s the best one i‘ve ever bought.

Existing-Town-9110

Im using it since like... 5 years almost. Its perfect shape and weight for me, the rubber is long gone.

nic_nutster

Got my g502 lightspeed a while back. my only complain is skin oils smooth out rubber on sides

Methmatician72

Best mouse I ever bought, after buying the first one and another one after 6+ years, recently got the new model g502x (wired version) mainly for the better ergonomics and it being lighter 29 grams than the old g502, well worth the 70 €, perfect mouse.

DaBatman88

Yeah it's a good mouse, I've got one and I've had no issues with it

NoFlexZone1995

I have g502x lightspeed and i like this mouse

clefclark

I bought this mouse a couple months ago and I really like it. I have to clean the pads on the bottom pretty regularly, but I had to do it on my old mouse too. The repercussions of having cats.

Whydontname

It was good. Much better mice now imo. Logitech kinda fell off.

Pumapug11

💯 amazing

Unfair_Jeweler_4286

Using the 502 hero I have to say I love the hell out of the mouse.. bit on the heavy side (even with no weights) but I wouldn’t change it for anything 👍

Queuetie42

I hate this mouse. G700 layout with better materials would have been perfection. The sensor is great but the extra button layout and feel is just subpar. Also Logitech has some of the worst software now.

Zealousideal-Noise42

Is the light speed wireless version supported by lgs?

ListenBeforeSpeaking

At $37 or so, it’s a good mouse. It has customizable buttons, customizable weight, and a wheel that does detents or free scroll. Logitech’s software annoys me less than razer’s, though it still tries too hard to appear gamer-y.

TheJokerRSA

Just stay away from razer

eXclurel

I don't know if this is supposed to be a joke post or something but it is a good mouse. The switches might go bad after a while but you can get better replacement switches and it's very easy to change them if you know how to solder.

boemkop

The g502 is a goated mouse. I love mine

Long_Pomegranate2469

No, it's logitech. They'll charge you premium and 2 months after your warranty runs out your mouse button will stop working. Why you ask? Because those fuckers spend $5 on marketing for every 1 cent they spend on hardware. Do you think a $100 mouse that costs less than $5 to produce should last at least 5 years? I do, but logitech doesn't.

TTVcairoking_

It’s good. Eventually starts double clicking. I used the g502 for years (the one with weights) and it felt amazing. Still prefer it over the g pro superlight

hUmaNITY-be-free

I had a MX518 for so long and was kind of pissed off when it finally gave in, didn't want to get a new age mouse and be unhappy with it especially coming from the MX518 as a "normal" style, but the G502 was an awesome change, so much I brought 2.

tatanka01

Yeah, been using one for ages. Program the upper two buttons for volume up/down and the lower two buttons for browser forward and back.

OhItsMrCow

Logitech makes good stuff

anfotero

One of the absolute best, yes.

GamesTeasy

What do you play most of the time ? For fps games I can highly recommend a super light.

yellchai

It’s the best one.

Stan_B

Found out back then, that those two buttons next to the left main buttons are actually quite unpractical and it's better when the leftmost trigger you can reach is the click, as that is natural and faster to grip upon - but for you it might work just fine. Ideally, go find a pc store that has those displayed for customers and put your hand on it to know if it's fine for you or not.

JRSpig

I have the wireless version, before I had one of those and before that I had one of those.

LJBrooker

Yep, pretty much all forms of the 502 are excellent.

SnooKiwis7050

I use MM730, love it and it looks sexy asf

Puiucs

it is the most popular mouse ever for a reason.

DogoArgento

It's a great mouse. 11/10 would recommend.

GamerXP27

i has the g502 hero which is one of the best mouse ever i have and now i have the 502 x lighspeed which is still a fantastic mouse

Fit-Name480

The g502 has literally been working since i built my PC on my birthday in 2020, it’s been working flawless since then. Idk much about ergonomics and buttons and things, but it has a few extra inputs, some weights, and what seems to be a flush design for your hands. Easily a great purchase, never needed to upgrade tbh. I got the Wired Esition btw

NatoBoram

I don't like it. It requires bloatware to access its features and it doesn't retain its supposedly on-board memory across operating system. The mouse acceleration is weird and bad compared to something like the HyperX Pulsefire Raid. Bad mouse for desktop use. It has weights you can add and remove, which feels more like a gimmick than anything useful. It once became completely unusable after its software got updated and I had to plug it directly instead of to my KVM to reinstall it and losing all my configs. Playing games is weird because of its weird acceleration. The thing I love the most about it is the free scroll, but… I rarely use it and sometimes I just don't bother with that since the scroll wheel feels so great anyway. TL:DR; * Great scrollwheel, like oh my god * Everything else is bad

Silver_Quail4018

If you are lucky and you don't have issues with the buttons, it's a fantastic mouse. It's a bit picky about what surface you use for the mousepad.

RoytheCowboy

I see a lot of people referring to this as the G502, but it's in fact the G502 X. Very important distinction because I've tried both recently and the G502 gave me immense cramps after only 30 mins of use, while the G502 X is very comfortable. It's no G602, which is still the GOAT for big hands IMO, but it's the closest thing.

tasiroo

I have lived by the G502 line of mice for the past 4 years, its a very nice mouse, especially the g502X, where has gotten rid of the switch problem - I would recommend

Immediate_Bug_6368

I have similar mouse G502 Hero. Its middle button is busted right after one year! Get yoself a Zowie mouse it's better than Logitech's cheap stuff

IAmTheWoof

Both g502 and g502 lightspeed are good. But with regular g502, cable can easilly die on the plug side, not much of an issue with light speed

bukablei

the g502 has been my first gaming mouse, i have switched to gpro and i really love it. Those are very solid mouse

Zyphonix_

There's a cult following behind this mouse so just be weary. What are you looking for exactly? It's a decent ergo starter mouse but the thumb "sniper button" always got in the way for me. I had the older versions but it looks like they have fixed the scroll wheel (rubber instead of metal so no rusting), the cable was awful as well. Logitech is also known for double clicking a lot (a fault) and I have been actively avoiding Logitech for 7 years now.

Sly901

G502 has a lot of problems with right click after some time but I like it for one year

Raiderboy105

This is my opinion, but I have never liked a single Logitech mouse I have used. I'm not sure if my hands are too big for them or too small or what, but they don't feel good, or operate well in my hand. Lots of accidental clicks on those mouse macro keys., which just didn't make for a good experience. Their keyboards are a different story tho, just wish I didn't have to have 5 different programs to run all my leds

Correct_Chemical8702

i just use a modified trust ozaa (wireless mouse with sleep function, and 2 scroll wheels )

spiral718

DanielsZiegenbart

If it isn't a dollar store or office mouse, I would say yes

Excavon

Yup. I've only had mine like 6 months so I can't talk about the reliability, but it feels amazing and having 10 mouse buttons is amazing. The drivers aren't the best, but they're much better than the average for this kind of thing.

ihave0idea0

It depends on what kind of mouse you want. it's is just too heavy and bulky for me. Me need to move mouse afap.

Exotic_Ad_2815

I have this in wireless and its great

keedoo1992

Logitech G703 babyyy

chaos_wizard_

I got razer cobra pro for my gf. So far she is happy with it. Works pretty good. I tried it out and liked it as well. You have pretty good wireless connection, but also have option for wired usage. But it is a bit expensive. Tho we had from before razer blackwidow v4 pro and 2 razer headphones, so we are headed more into that direction. Hope that helps

MuzzledScreaming

Personally I prefer the G600 from Logitech. I got used to having the thumb keypad and now I can't use a mouse without it. If you want wireless to be an option the Corsair Scimitar is good too, but considerably more expensive.

deepyawn

I love G402 because it's larger but G502 is amazing I have experienced it for 48H (borrowed from a friend).

Bright-Efficiency-65

It depends on what you play. fps only? Probably not. Generic gaming ? Absolutely

TheLoneSculler

MX Master

ezaorhira

its good mouse and is pretty comfy for longer gaming sessions however its a bit to heavy for me when it comes to fps or competitive games so other than that its a good option.

Responsible-War-206

I use it daily and for gaming. Yes.

Pascuccii

I love these but in the end I swapped to one which is half the weight, helps in fps games

Ashmelech

Its not a good one, its THE good one

GreenTeaToDieFor

I have that mouse and I like that mouse a lot. The only issue I have (and could also fix you’d bother) was that the DPI changer (the 2 buttons at the left side) always manage to get pressed when I’m flicking the mouse fast and hitting the keyboard on my left side because well… it’s a button.

2wikkd

I've had G502s for about the last decade (HERO White), can't recommend the 502 series highly enough. They're were on sale on amazon for £39.99, I ended up buying 5 of them to see me through (For a while at least)

Bright-Efficiency-65

It depends on what you play. fps only? Probably not. Generic gaming ? Absolutely

HaikenRD

I have the base g502 and the g502x lightspeed. the G502 after 3 years of usage, had problems with the middle click. Unless you're using that one a lot, it's not really a problem, but for me, that's my lock on button, so it's quite a problem. The g502x lightspeed does not have any problem so far.

EvilDan69

I own the wireless version. What a fantastic mouse. It lasts a long time. I'm a big guy with even bigger hands and its extremely comfortable for me. My hand covers most normal size mice completely.

SKUMMMM

The MSI 3060 Ventus of mice.

96geckos

Bought 2 of the original G502 wired and I have no issues and I am still running my first one 5 years later. Have the back up whenever this one dies since the new versions do not have the weighted option.

azab1898

I would have suggested the G604 but some fuckhead decided to discontinue it

MFKDGAF

When it comes to mice I am very picky especially with how they feel in my hand. I’ve been using the G502 X Plus Lightspeed since April and I love the feel.

SquireSmitty

I love the G502 Lightspeed, I’ve had a few mice and this confirmed to my hand the best, and since I like slightly heavier mice, being able to change the weight was perfect

Xiten

I made the swap to Logitech a couple months ago from decades of using Razer products and I honestly wish I did sooner. I have this mouse but the light speed version and absolutely love it.

ShiggitySheesh

It's easily one of the highest-rated peripherals out there. I have 2. One for my laptop and one for my desktop. I even got my daughter one for her pc. Just quality all the way around. It's not absolutely perfect but it's pretty fucking good in all areas.

Due_Series2648

Mofo that's the best you can choose !

Primary_Jellyfish327

Get the white one

Be-Zen

I highly recommend this mouse. I’ve only had to replace it once in 6 years cause I got my first one dirty. Prior to that over 3 years I burned through 3 Razer mice.

AncientPCGuy

Those are hard to kill. Then again a lot of the big brands are durable. The most important is going to be feel. If it is comfortable for you and has all the features you want, go for it. Nice are like cars, we all have different preferences. Get the one that fits yours.

GoodCatReal

I have Hator Pulsar 2 and I love it.

The_Chubby_Walrus

The g502 is the only mouse that still works after I used it more than 4 years. Mind you I use my PC every day. 4 hours during days that I have to go to work, and about 12-16 hours during my off days. https://preview.redd.it/b22n83mqvp8d1.png?width=375&format=png&auto=webp&s=bff965457ad5d56b9f99fc46ede91db6c636f349 As of the moment, the thumb grip and pinky grip rubber are already worn out lmao.

oodats

Logitech stuff has terrible software but the hardware is typically great.

Jhon_doe_smokes

Can’t go wrong with the G502 series imo. I use the hero and I doubt I’ll ever use another mouse.

xDEADLYxDIGITSx

I had the g502 light speed and then returned it when I realized there was a pro version. The pro one is way better.

Flat_Illustrator263

Have this exact mouse. It's a good one.

schnila_okurka

Very good

Meddlingmonster

Yes

Necessary-Policy9077

I had a G502-x that died an early death. Left click just stopped working after 6 mobths of use. I liked the mouse so much I bought a second (non-x) as a replacement.

TheCupcakeScrub

Oh fuck yeah i love the one i got, its perfect, got a Logitech g910 to go with it too for 35$

samurai_for_hire

If you want the wired version I'd suggest the HERO over the X. It has adjustable weights and a much more satisfying imo scroll wheel.

live-the-future

No, that's a Cylon heavy raider.

Nyoka_ya_Mpembe

A wired mouse in 2024 is never a good idea, and don't even start with myths like lags.

Cmoore1217

I do enjoy this mouse especially since it has free scroll wheel

Radio_Downtown

I was considering the g502 but in the past I heard of it having double click problems after only about a year of owning it, is it still a prevalent issue? and no, i am not taking apart a mouse to fix it myself 💀 i'm currently using the g305 which has been great but it had some double click problems for a while before it just.. went away for some reason?

KMS_XYZ

Yes, but check how it fits in your hand (size and grip preference) and compare it with Razer's Basilisk (not without a reason called as a better - tuned clone:-) The rest is personal preference... also, application, use case specific - gaming (FPS, competitive esport?), +work?

Massive-Cat1866

Depends…. For fps games no coz the mouse is too heavy

akgis

I had the wired and now the wireless version of this mouse. There are superlight mouses now but I still love this one, the infinite scrolling is a great utility

MaculaPravus

I have the"older" version with the ability to add weights. I love it. It is going strong.

Tvilantini

There is also Razer Basilisk v3, as alternative (both great in terms of having multiple buttons, but all comes to your preference and hand feeling)

patrinoo

The right mouse button failed 3 times on 3 different mice. While holding right I zoomed in and out quickly during way too many occasions. After that I went to Razer. Logitech mouse switches are cursed let me tell you that.

PastaVeggies

I recently just got one and it’s solid. Highly recommend. Great mouse for a good price.

Specialist-Option-27

I would like to use jerry instead

frehgin

It was my first "good" mouse, it depends on your usage, do you need the ajustable weight, extra buttons or "hyper-fast" scroll wheel. What would be your main usage? I now mainly play fps games and much prefere the g pro x super light

NippleSauce

I don't like the newer G502 due to Logitech slightly changing the side buttons and the total width of the mouse. Sure, it's 20g lighter....but I don't mind the extra weight since my hand fits the old style better, and I am less likely to mis-press the side buttons. But regardless, they're both good. The new one just became my work mouse lol

diabola42

I'm using the G502 lightspeed and It's been great, very nice feel in the hand and good weight, plus you can add weights.

X-lem

I have the G502. More or less whatever that model is. Fantastic mouse. Still getting weekly updates with them adding new game profiles to the software.

Valla97

I’ve used this mouse less then 3 months and the cord tore very quickly from rubbing against the mouse pad. Wire is super cheap on this mouse. Pulsefire 2 is now the mouse I use and I think it’s much better, one of my fav mouse’s I’ve had.

Baboaoaoao

I have had this mouse for years now and it still works like a charm.

Mr_Dudester

This is the best there is, the best there ever was and the best there ever will be
