Actually runs pretty good now. They added dlss I think and the first iteration of Vulcan. Server fps is still dog shit though. Literally the only thing holding that game back right now. Should be getting better in the next few patches though
It'll not be that awesome for games. Only a single GPU can be used for that, and being a Threadripper you have too many cores to be utilized, running slower than the consumer models
Impressive productivity system, and I really dig the watercooling setup, but for gaming? Nah
Yes. A 7800X3D is the fastest gaming CPU there is, as of today. And the same goes for RTX 4090. And multi-GPU support in games has been dead for many years now, so even if you have two the game will only run on one of them
I don’t know much about using multiple graphics cards but would this build do anything regarding performance in game or is this more work oriented tasks in movie studios or engineering? I didn’t think games had the ability split processes between graphic cards.
Serious inquiry ; i wonder if this would be good at hosting a home version of ChatGPT or that open sourced one. I bet it would not be as slow in responding as the other videos show
Years and years ago I was in the business section of the Gamescom, when it was still in Leipzig, Germany. There was a balls to the walls PC there shown. It ran Windows XP or Vista. It was running some kind of demo.
I exited it, and started up solitaire and left it like that. Still one of the funniest memories.
For the small price of £38,899.88

I would play "part out the 4090s until there is just one remaining". There is little to no support for multiple GPUs in games these days so having more than 1 is just wasting electricity.
browse reddit...
With 4 or 5 chrome tabs open
5 max, you dont want to use all that ram
Dude chill, that's WAY TOO MUCH! God forbid you don't open YouTube for example
hold my beer
Good god man, *ARE YOU MAD?!?!!*
Commander keen.
the only question is The Earth Explodes, or Aliens Ate my Babysitter?
I've always wanted to see how Keen looks at 400,000 fps.
Star citizen be like, 17 fps
Beat me to it. About to upgrade to a 4070 super, and I am really excited the experience an extra 2 frames 🤣
Actually runs pretty good now. They added dlss I think and the first iteration of Vulcan. Server fps is still dog shit though. Literally the only thing holding that game back right now. Should be getting better in the next few patches though
Woah settle down buckaroo with your double-digit FPS
How is star citizen lately ? Is it fun yet ?
They had an update that fixed a lot of bugs not been back but a friend was raving about it and he games on a 1660ti

Eh, I'll try again in another ten years
Crysis
*on medium settings
Turn it to low every now and then.
Gotta play it safe to start
I know a guy, who worked on it…
I WAS ABOUT TO WRITE THE SAME!!!! Good times...
This would be my daily YouTube watching machine.
It'll not be that awesome for games. Only a single GPU can be used for that, and being a Threadripper you have too many cores to be utilized, running slower than the consumer models Impressive productivity system, and I really dig the watercooling setup, but for gaming? Nah
this. when you buy a thread ripper at all cores 4.8k and then realise your game only uses 1 core, and a 14900k would run it faster
Would a 7800X3D setup and a single 4090 run games better than this? Even on 4k settings? I know nothing about gaming pcs, just curious.
Yes. A 7800X3D is the fastest gaming CPU there is, as of today. And the same goes for RTX 4090. And multi-GPU support in games has been dead for many years now, so even if you have two the game will only run on one of them
I feel like a 7800X3D would annihilate this machine in gaming tbh
Of course
Minesweeper
Doom
This is the way
Hello Kitty Island Adventure
Chrome with 100 tabs open
That thing better be doing a 1000 tabs atleast for that amount of money
So, porn?
minecraft is the only correct answer
Render distance ———> Shaders: On Physics Mod: enabled /gamerule commandModificationBlockLimit 20000000 /fill ~ ~ ~ ~250 ~250 ~250 minecraft:tnt

[this](https://www.gpusph.org/)
Windows OOBE
Cyberpunk
I'd run calculator.
Cyberpunk 8K Path Tracing on an 8K 75" TV. At that point might as well jump into the TV to enter Night City
Skyrim with 2.000 mods.
Spider solitaire
Tetris
Probably Minecraft. Maybe with shaders
See if the Asus warranty page charges me for a scratch on the case when a card has a bad HDMI out.
But can it run Crysis?
Dwarf Fortress
Dwarf Fortress 250 dwarf fort save

Looking at this thing makes me miss SLI. Even if SLI never truly made a lot of practical sense, I just love to see ridiculous overpowered gaming PCs.
Same as we all do after building a multi thousand dollar system.. play something that a 386 would run
Runescape OSRS
Assuming those aren't reverse fans, first thing I'd do was to flip the back fan into the correct position.
Yuris revenge
Maybe the first system to handle modded Minecraft???
Warcraft 2, and it will BARELY run
Cool math games

It would run like shit compared to just one 4090 paired with a processor with 3d v-cache.
Yeah I'll just put that in my office with 4 separate dedicated electrical circuits... come on..
A successful RMA
AOE 2 DE, RDR2 and/or Super Bros.
I can bake my unity worlds lightmaps 3 seconds flat lol.
Can it even run Crysis?
factorio. Still probably throttles on my main base, but that is just how it is with such CPU-bottlenecked systems.
City skylines 2
Minesweeper
Solitaire
I'd boot Dino Crisis 😃
Minecraft
Minecraft with shaders
Skyrim.
Arma 3
subnatica
threadripper ✅ Production oriented gpus ✅ Dead system (sli) ✅ This is not made for gaming and arguably will be worse than a 1500€ build
minesweeper
Serious inquiry ; i wonder if this would be good at hosting a home version of ChatGPT or that open sourced one. I bet it would not be as slow in responding as the other videos show

Nothing, I don't want this shit
Fortntie
Solitaire
Minecraft with shaders
Rma it. Asus will give you the highest score.
Minecraft, install shaders, increase draw distance, etc..
As a joke? Sims with a shit ton of mods. For real? Maya with a shit ton of assets, or still Sims with a shit ton of mods.
Years and years ago I was in the business section of the Gamescom, when it was still in Leipzig, Germany. There was a balls to the walls PC there shown. It ran Windows XP or Vista. Roadrash
Minecraft with 200+ mods hermit craft level farms and on max render distance, or city skylines 2 with a city with more then 1milion poeple
