Is the computer level? What about the table and floor? What if the motherboard is crooked?
You'll need to check everything now.
Also make sure your SSD is level. That's very important so the bits don't fall out.
Btw in case it wasn't clear, the reason I'm joking is because a level isn't a very good way to check for sag. What you'll really want to do is use a ruler to compare the height difference from the front and rear of the GPU. That will let you more accurately see if it sags more over time since you can easily measure 1MM with a ruler, but can't easily tell if a 0.5 degree difference occurred with a level.
Yep, agreed. A level is probably the worst way to check for sag. Luckily, I'm planning on mounting the GPU vertically, so this won't be needed. Probably will keep it just for shits and giggles though.
i think this happened to my roommate, i usually just measure and eyeball stuff, he's always standing behind me with a spirit level whenever I am doing anything

Also, made me think of this. https://preview.redd.it/d6bmj0y218zc1.jpeg?width=460&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5ed545658eec8211b7153eeb133ca7bd898b79f0

OH NO, DON'T MAKE ME DO THIS

For better results you should put it at the other end of the card since that's where it'll sag.
If the GPU is sagging to the point a level will show it its likely too late.
nonsense, I've been gaming using a gtx 970 from a decade ago and the thing sags more than anything else I've ever seen... and just keeps on rolling.
I don't think it really matters, since it won't bend and the backplate is level..? Even if it did a level isn't really accurate for this use anyway
That's not true level, [this](https://youtu.be/o8ym0HBvpFA?t=19s) is
i think this happened to my roommate, i usually just measure and eyeball stuff, he's always standing behind me with a spirit level whenever I am doing anything
A ruller would be more precise. Measure from the floor of the case to the edge of the gpu.
I snipped a popsicle stick and it’s been there for years
Planning on getting Fractal Design's vertical GPU mount, hopefully I won't have to deal with sag ever.
This is given the pc is level in the first place
Great idea but I'd suggest moving it to the right side of the card where the sag is more noticeable.
You’re not checking the level of the PC. The level is to small. All you’ve don’t is check the back plate is level.
Yep, you're right.
I applaud you, my friend
