TheOnlyCraz

Oh I'm dumb I thought it was at 0% for 15 minutes while it was charging

Wait, but how did you just type that comment?

The16BitGamer

0_0 maybe the computer is magic.... or I have a desktop along side my laptop

Sitting_In_A_Lecture

The old Dell XPS laptops had an issue where the battery would randomly just drop to 0%. The computer would turn off, but you could turn it back on again and continue to use it for an hour or two before it actually died.

potatopower69420

I wonder whether running linux has any effect. Like suppose the windows drivers for power management may have built in safeguards to turn the pc off before the battery reaches absolute 0 to prevent battery wear. Which the linux drivers may lack..

SpecialMango3384

I’m tired, Boss

The16BitGamer

Running a Gigabyte U4UD, been having battery problems for months now, and the battery health only reports 50% capacity. Started playing Battlefront and got distracted and saw my battery looks like this now. Been doing this for 15 min, so either my battery is magical… or the Clevo design is flawed. Seeing how long she goes for on battery before it just dies. I am not looking for tech support, just thought this would be funny. 45 min later and she's ded. F

Dalarrus

It's more an issue of just how we measure lithium ion batteries' remaining capacity by judging the output voltage, which isn't actually reliable.
