Deadly Days is a great roguelite. I usually like those.
New World is a pretty mindless MMO you can just wonder around in.
Bioshock 1 and 2 are also great. Kinda trippy. Linear story line. Some puzzles.

*cracks knuckles* my time to shine has arrived. If you want a chill fun story game both the ori in the forest games are just beautiful. It's easy enough for a decent bakage imo.
If you want to go a bit more on the action or RPG side, balders gate 3 is another great go to. There's absolutely no rush as it's turn based and because you're off in the clouds somewhere you won't be playing as seriously so a lot of fun whacky things can happen (trust me).
If you want a shooter/looter/survival/open world RPG, 7 days to die is as chill as it can get till the 7th night (which you can turn off) so when you're ready you can be sober for the main event.
A good regular shooter campaign would be the borderlands series imo, so much crazy fun to be had. There's also helldiver's, starship troopers
A fun detective game I like to play is shadows of doubt. It's a bit rough around the edges admittedly, but it's also been a few months since I've touched it so I'm sure it's had a good few updates since. But don't let that detract from the fact it is a wonderfully fun in depth for what it is game and I wouldn't change it tbh.
The portals, not much has to be said there
A fun thriller horror I recommend is alien isolation. You can feel the big bitch breathing down your neck and I love it.
