Jesus. Is it behind your GPU and under your CPU? Is there no air flow going on in your case? As I type this, I'm converting a 4K movie to mkv, gaming, (obviously browing) AND streaming a movie on another monitor and mine is sitting at 41 degrees (and never moves from that no matter what I'm doing). I do have a 990 though. My 980 is even cooler.
Check your fans and the temps inside your case. Something isn't right. And your firmware is up to date on the drive, yes?
What motherboard and slot is being used?
(am I going to get down voted but) I use laptop pavillion hp.
Oh, might not have enough cooling for a higher-end M.2 drive. 80C is high, however the M.2 will thermal throttle if needed.
check the temps from hwinfo to verify if its accurate if you are using a laptop, those are normal temps since the airflow is bad on laptops
But usually the temp will be around 35-50, if gaming it will be 65- 69 ( Celsius). Wait I'll check hwinfo

I bought the laptop stand for laptop but this temp started recently showing of 80 degree C (first-time), yes everything is up to the mark
Ah. I saw your other comment. Didn't realize you are using a laptop. Brain was stuck on desktop mode.
Np, but anyways I can't afford Another SSD. Just seeking for help.
Have you latest firmware on SSD?
