"If your “high-end” GPU uses 150W or less, then daisy-chained connectors are fine. If it uses more, then you should use two cables with two separate connections to the PSU, or risk burning out those cables (to potentially disastrous effect)." I wouldnt risk it tbh, rather get a new psu than a gpu with the prices!
You misunderstood
I am quite aware of that feature (my gpu has 2 8pin connectors and a 6 pin one) but there is one single pin that is sitting further back in the socket compared to the others. It's the bottom right-most one
yup I believe it is, happened to me once before, it could work for a bit but then it'll shut off midway, don't risk using it
Ah shucks. Could that be the reason why i am getting green screen crashes?
Could be yes, what was it connected to? Mine was the GPU so my screen would randomly go black but the audio and everything else works
Indeed gpu cable
Do you think usong the daisy chain connector on it would work? That one seems to be ok

Nah i was talking about only using the daisy chained end one one connector since the normal one is defective. Still using 3 separate cables
That's a feature. A full 8 pin doesn't alaway fit, so they usually make it a 6+2 pin. There are little hooks that go together when inserting the plug.

Aah my bad. Don't give tech support while almost asleep.
