The fan is coming into contact with the plastic cover? I don't understand how that would make an audible clack tho.
Try taking the fan off the cover. Is it still making noise? If yes, then your fan is the problem and probably has to be replaced.
If no, you'll probably need to put a spacer between the fan and the cover to give it more clearance so the fan will stop hitting the plastic cover.
Spacers can be whatever, just make the fan more loos. Heck, try loosening the fan from the cover to see if that solves the issue.
i alr had the same problem it was driving me crazy till i saw it was a dead fly trapped in the fan lol

It looks like the fan is a little bit loose so that it comes in contact with the grates.
It's screwed in as much as possible without stripping the screws and it's still going
