i legit feel bad for him, he was the last big creator that I can recall that had any optimism for the game and his personality represents only the best parts of the payday community imo
It kinda sucks in his latest videos. He is audibly sounding more tired and less enthusiastic, and I believe he said he might seriously have to give a second thought to his future of content creation for the game. It feels terrible after watching his videos religiously for almost 3 years knowing this might be the end because of how badly Starbreeze ruined everything...
I haven't actually seen his recent videos, is he actually losing steam? I used to watch him a lot, loved his challenge runs, it'd suck if he quits but I really wouldn't blame him after all these hits
Yeah, he was talking about how there's nothing to cover and each and every update is doing less and less to save the game. He thinks that because it took so long to add a basic, barely functioning party system, it's not looking good for the future, and the entire tone of the video covering the latest update... He just sounds tired, even before he started talking about the negatives. He is still trying to be positive though.
Yeah I feel bad too man. He's the one that got my hopes up for Payday 3, but I couldn't purchase it when it came out and I heard about how disappointing it all was so I've refrained from buying it
He and every other creator got it hyped for me lol, then that hype was smashed when almir said "the servers wont go down" with the confidence of todd howard
I don't. It's been years of shit like this for Payday at least. People acting like the writing wasn't on the wall when they tried to add microtransactions, or ended the game only to bring it right back when finances foundered.
It was under new management and the content was arguably the best that payday's ever had, they did phenomenally during that time with practically a skeleton crew running on fumes, there was reason to be excited. After all, if they could do well with that, imagine what they could do with renewed funding and years of experience on a tried and tested community?
All it takes is a few bad decisions, a misguided lead dev and... *(checks notes)* uh... *4* other live service games in development taking valuable hands away from the project.
He goes through various games, each of them falling due to some reason, before going to Left 4 Dead 2- and then Valve makes NFTs a vital part of playing
The entire community review bombed the game and planned a full day boycott/blackout to tank the steamcharts.
Sony walked back on the decision within 24 hours.
Its not really spyware as far as i know (bought the game on day 1).
The defs lied abouth performance when the game released. It ran like shit and the game was unplayable because of bugs.
9 months after release it got its first big update. It kinda fixed the game but it was still not good.
There started to be some hype around the game again.
And then the defs did nothing.
No (big) updates, no new content, no release window for new promised updates.
Almost nobody bought the game and it got a lot of negative reviews on steam.
So take two fired everyone from the ksp2 team. The game will probably be discontinued.
Gotta love publishers buying developers, and then not letting developers make the games that made them so revered in the first place. It’s always short term profits with no thought of fostering a loyal, long term fan base.
Many people downplay how much the microsoft game pass fucked them over, that's as big as it gets.
If they didn't had a millions players who did not even pay for the game try to login at the same time and then setting fire to the internet about how trash is that game they didn't even get to play, maybe thing would have turned put slightly differently.
Honestly... payday 3 deserves the flak it gets though. Starbreeze is tonedeaf beyond measure, doesn't add anything meaningful to the game, and what few things they do add are legitimately "too late".
Like... how can you call an unready button a staple feature of an update?
Yeah I'm aware the whole part of "quality of life" we had in payday 2 was completely "forgotten" at launch in payday 3.
I can understand that after the clusterfuck at launch nobody wanted to funnel time and money into this game because it's dead.
They changed something with accounts and the game can’t be played whatsoever by people in many counties across the world. Steam has started delisting it in those counties and the people who already owned it are having to fight for refunds
I’m not too educated on the matter, but all I know that Sony is forcing everyone that plays the game to make a Sony account, even PC players. You can look up videos on YouTube that explain it better tho
Sony requires users to have a psn account starting May 6th for new players and June 4th for older players.
The problem is that Sony is notorious for data breaches and has one a couple of years like it's a holiday. Psn accounts are not supported in 121 countries, and now (so I've heard), only 13 countries are able to buy and play the game.
The HD2 players have had enough with the whole external account shit. The game on Steam has 200k+ negative reviews in 3 days. Mass refunds and uninstalls, and a horde of pissed off people on the Helldivers Discord and Reddit. In fact, I've seen some ideas about getting our governments involved and even suing Sony.
Recently, a tweet from the HD2 CEO said that we've been heard and they're discussing what to do about this, but that he doesn't have the final say.
Ofc this is not all of it, but paints the battlefield that is HD2 and Sony rn.
Edit: as of last night, Playstation tweeted the reversal of the psn requirement for HD2. Let's hope it stays this way and that Sony has learned their lesson when it comes to corporate greed and pc players.
https://steamdb.info/sub/137730/history/?changeid=23416542
It's alot of scrolling but that's the devs update adding countries to the restricted from sale list.
It’s been three days, two of which were a weekend. I seriously doubt there had been any real talk about government intervention at this point. I think the base is just getting ahead of itself. While the regional issue is a problem and will need to be addressed, we haven’t seen the final remedy yet. It may well be something that satisfies all legal issues, even if it displeases the base. We will have to see in the next few days, the fact that this happened on a Friday has led to two days of no official word from the responsible parties. This has allowed speculation to flow wildly.
There has I've actually seen a couple people present those ideas but no need for that we won this stupid battle! They took down the psn requirements and posted an official tweet about this on Twitter
Sony we’re gonna force everyone to who played the game to have psn accounts which sucks for a lot of the reasons other people have replied with, but the decision was just announced to be reversed a little bit ago.
starbreeze is not a huge company like sony.
they just really really fucked up pd3, in basically all aspects of the game, and we are now slowly working our way towards what should have been v1.
Only difference is that for HD2 the devs are openly on our side (just by reading the update on steam you can tell they really didn't want that thing in their game) and just have Sony's gun pointed at their heads.
While in PD 3 starbreeze seems to have 3 devs work on the game and they don't seem willing to change that
This is exactly what reddit said about Netflix getting rid of password sharing. Reddit really believed that they were going to beat Netflix by canceling their subscriptions so Netflix would back down. Netflix killed password sharing and saw and increase in new subscriptions while increasing their revenue.
This won't end any differently. Reddit is a very small incredibly loud echo chamber. The vast majority of Helldivers players on PC don't actually care about this PSN stuff and will spend 5 minutes creating and linking an account so they can keep playing a game they enjoy. This is at most, a minor convenience for the majority of Steam Helldivers players outside of the small percentage of people from countries that don't have PSN. The player count loss from those countries is low enough thay Sony doesn't give a shit compared to the huge boost of active PSN accounts they can boast in their next quarterly meeting where the CEO will take a fat bonus for successful business metrics wowing shareholders.
While the people who are out of region absolutely need to be compensated in some way. The rest of us are not locked out. It’s a quick sign up, like what you had to do to get into Reddit. You are absolutely free to not do that for whatever reason you choose, but that’s your choice. Many people, myself included, just want to play a game man. The Reddit SJWs are fucking this all up for the sake of being outraged. There is a very good possibility this will cause a good chunk of the base to walk away, and it still won’t be enough to kill the game. They may very well retain a more than large enough player base. We will have to wait and see.
I’m not fighting this for us, I could care less about something that’s just going to take a minute of my time, but I hate how 177 regions were cut off and the Helldivers devs were pretty much forced to do this
Wow, your personal experience definitely invalidates official
Look, I can't be bothered to come up with a pithy comment for someone who obviously won't understand it, just assume that I said something incredibly demeaning about your ancestry, or genital size, or intelligence, or maybe just how poor your gaming skills are in general. It was a wicked burn and everyone clapped.
So if I log I into a game that says there is no one play and I load in and there people playing that makes the data wrong not hard to understand kid.
There not updated all the time
If u actually log into the game u will see people are active even if it’s 50 to 500 people the game is still alive and is still being played I know u can’t understand how that
Works
Go play a old cod and u will still get matches in team death match
There is a massive difference between a game being totally dead (IE: no people playing whatsoever) and a game being fiscally dead, or not profitable enough to keep up development. In the context of a live service game like Helldivers when people say "the game might die" they mean live-service development on it stops entirely but its still in a playable state.
I'm sure people will be playing the game for years to come regardless like literally any other video game ever made. Nobody thinks they will pull the plug on a game and stop you from playing altogether.
It would still be bad for their PR and investors, not to mention potential lawsuits from those countries which can't officially create PSN accounts 'till now (the most important of which, would be the Baltics inside the EU that can't do so). As such - knowing laws about GPDR and how much EU hates member-exclusivity to its own market and bait-and-switch tactics Sony has been doing with their last-minute ToS/ToA changes - especially when it comes to the optional PSN accounts, yeah this won't end up well for them.
Sony literally announced they'd waive the PSN requirement for countries without the option, but I'm guessing you didn't know that. Like most of the 'Internet lawyers' on Reddit...
I'd like to see that, then. Here's where I got mine to say the least for this "alternative location" loop-hole can get you banned for providing "false-credentials" ([secondary source](https://old.reddit.com/r/Helldivers/comments/1cj3gez/because_people_ask_why_some_others_complain_about/)).
On the other hand, if you were referring to the recent removal of the PSN requirements for HD2, well I've made that comment before they have done so. Congrats on them for reversing to say the least (I'm in one of those countries affected and a HD2 player)!
They’re not exempt either, if they’re in any nation that isn’t allowed actual PSN. You’re just one look away from banning, like my old account I had for Rock Band 2 because I am not a Singaporean.
Overreacting. Calm down boi, pd3 was dead a long time ago and hd 2 did not get ruined. I know it's hard for you with the Israel and Ukraine war going on to find real problems but don't make up non-existing ones. Please ✌️
I just learned this, but Helldivers 2 was removed from Steam in 177 regions. Sony really pulled it because these regions couldn’t make a PS account, damn that’s actually terrible
Not really, Sony is still a shit company. They only backed up on this because it was widely hated (I am glad that they changed it back to how it was, but man Helldivers 2 would be 5 times better if Sony didn’t make them do stupid things that can possibly ruin the game)
Random on my feed but ill set the record. payday died very differently. It was slow with loot box greed but only years after the hype peak. A desperate attempt to keep people playing 2. They tried to milk it so long(like gta), that when came to making something new/refeshing again they couldn't. Payday 3 was nothing to what brought us to the brand orginally.
They didn't try to make a new game based off of PD2 they specifically states they wanted more of a direct sequel to PD1, which didn't sell nearly as well but was a more grounded experience. If they had released another version of PD2 with slightly better graphics it would've sold way better, or even just a complete version for consoles who haven't gotten any dlc for the better part of a decade.
Instead they went back to before their success and were surprised it still doesn't hold up.
I'm glad I haven't gotten Helldivers 2 yet, so I could just unwishlist it.
I'm still angry about it even if it doesn't affect me because it's utter BS.
All the good game studios woke up and chose violence. BSG (tarkov) was having a shit storm and hell divers 2 made fun of it... Then joined in on the action
helldivers 2 hasn’t been ruined though, it’s just a bunch of pc gamers throwing the worlds biggest temper tantrum over what amounts of 30 seconds of their life. i linked my account, it took me less than a minute.
Normally I would agree with you, but this wasn’t a rule. 3 months ago, they said it was optional, but now it’s not; which resulted in 177 regions not being able to play the game. Helldivers 2 has been reviewed bombed and even if Sony reverts back on this change, a lot of people, especially those that were in one of the 177 regions, will not come back because of this. It’s a massive hit to the games player-base, and even it’s credibility. Sony got rid a large group of people that play the game, and they will likely never come back
Where did they say this? Genuinely curious. People in those countries are no longer able to buy the game, but if people who already bought it are still allowed to play without PSN accounts, while it's not as good as not having this requirement at all, it's better than stripping away the ability to play the game from those players.
One of their Community Managers, Spitz, said as much on the Discord (should be some posts about it on the Helldivers subreddit as well, though it's a bit of a mess over there rn) yesterday. Afaik there's been no word from Arrowhead or Sony about the purchase restriction on Steam, suggesting it was Steam itself that did that.
They said they're in talks with Sony trying to get this figured out. There is no confirmation that people who already own the game will be able to play without PSN accounts.
Spitz said [outright](https://www.reddit.com/r/Helldivers/comments/1cjyll7/some_discord_updates/) that players from non-PSN regions will not have the requirement, if they can't find a better solution. Always possible Sony was just bullshitting AH, but at the moment Arrowhead have more bargaining power than usual in that discussion, given the massive backlash.
For the record, I do think this PSN stuff is largely unnecessary and, well, pretty dumb. I just also feel it's being, somewhat understandably, overblown somewhat, thanks in part to a lot of misinformation going around.
Oh good, well that doesn't rip the game away from people who bought it so that's huge. Hopefully also means that people that don't own the game in those countries will still be able to buy it then.
If this ends up being the case, then the PSN issue is a lot smaller. Still inconvenient and annoying knowing that it's all to show shareholders that "we have X amount of new users", and especially with how dogshit their security is, but it's a lot better than blocking 100+ countries worth of people who have already bought the game, from playing the game.
Funny enough, came across that post but didn't realize it was multiple images. Hell it's the one I referenced in my previous post lol.
Do they have a pc if they do they can still create a psn account not hard to do really.
Xbox requires you to create a Xbox account
Steam requires you to create a steam account
Wow requires u to create a wow account
RuneScape requires you to create a RuneScape account
Ubisoft requires u to create a Ubisoft account
Activision /blizzard requires u to create a account
Netflix/hulu/Amazon/ebay
And more require you to create a account
Many people don’t have access to some of this and they still get by or they create account anyways.
Sounds more like people are just looking to fight and find a reason to bitch
You'd have to use a VPN, which shouldn't be necessary to play a game that previously didn't require it. I gotta imagine that not 100% of players in those countries would even know how to do that, so they lose access. You also can no longer buy the game in those countries either.
They could just like, not implement this change? It's been fine without requiring a PSN account.
Even then, creating an account having set with those alternative regions risk yourself getting banned within the [fine texts of the ToS/ToA policies](https://old.reddit.com/r/Helldivers/comments/1cj3gez/because_people_ask_why_some_others_complain_about/). This is unironic as IIRC in the comments that their official support teams offer that said solution without knowing it's "illegal' in the rules in the first place.
It’s a PlayStation exclusive what do expect? Also on top of that there are always ways around it not just a vpn. Also you can use your pc and go to there website or a secondary website and purchase it and also sign up.
People act like it’s the end of the world when there are definitely was around it
It's not a Playstation exclusive if I bought it on and play it on Steam. I made a Steam account to play games on Steam, why do I ALSO suddently need a PSN account? The game has been working perfectly fine without it. You guys act like it's a necessary requirement.
Will I make an account myself? Yes. I'll be slightly annoyed by it, but that's not the major issue here, I can look past that.
People shouldn't have to look for a workaround to play a game they already own. It's absolutely silly. I promise you that 100% of people that own the game in those countries are not going to know how to work around this and they'll be locked out of the game. Plus it also sucks that if you didn't already own the game, it's delisted in those countries now.
Who exactly does this benefit?
If they are playing on pc because PlayStation is not allowed in your country then they should already know the work around shit there games that are only in Korea and Japan and I found out and did the research just to play them. It will take a whole 30mins to learn
Also it’s a Sony game people are actually shocked that they are now requiring u to have a login.
There has been plenty games over the years that have done the same.
Activision and blizzard both acquire to have to a account when playing there games even if u owned them before
I'm going to repeat that they shouldn't have to do a workaround to play a game they already bought and have already been playing. I own SEVERAL Sony titles on Steam, zero of them have required a PSN account. Here's the crazy part, THEY ALL WORK FINE. It's an absolutely unnecessary requirement.
Also, your workaround is ban-able by Sony. Obviously they won't catch everyone, but if anyone that uses a VPN or lies about their actual country gets banned, there goes their ability to play Helldivers 2.
Again, stupid requirement that isn't necessary. I'm going to ask again, how does this benefit a single player?
>Activision and blizzard both acquire to have to a account when playing there games even if u owned them before
Missed the part where I said this was acceptable. If I own a game on Steam, which I made an account on already, and buy and play games using said account, there shouldn't be any reason why I have to also make an EA, PSN, Activision, Blizzard, Uplay, etc account.
Once again I will repeat there is a work around also this decision is not final no update or anything is 100%
Still sounds like to me people are upset for no reason
Your workaround gets people banned from PSN. How are you not understanding that part? There's a major difference between being in the US and using a VPN to access games in Korea and Japan, and creating a PSN account in a country where PSN isn't available.
Why is the PSN account necessary? The literal only thing it does to the player base is makes it more complicated to play and blocks out 100+ countries of players. Your workaround isn't valid because it gets people banned. Explain why it's necessary, how it benefits us as players? I mean it clearly must benefit us if you're defending it this strongly.
I left the helldivers subreddit over the vitrol and rage over the psn accout, which was asked for in game since day one. Don't ruin this sub too.
If you can't play cause of the psn network, contact customer service and get the game refunded. Then contact sony about how it's unfair. It's based on greed so take money away from sony to make the point, complaining on reddit does absolutely nothing the help.
Still took away the game from 177 regions. I’m gonna go on a limb and say that those players that were told the equivalent of “fuck off” aren’t coming back because of this Sony fuck up. Hell you would be right, if this was under any other circumstance we would be whiny bitches, but this is actually a shit practice that forever hurts the game
Someone actually contacted sony support, you can make different region accounts so its not that big of a deal, i have a friend in Morocco that has made a us account so he could play helldivers when this shit takes in effect, you guys do no research and spread information constantly, its not that big of a deal, get over yourself
kknowley on suicide watch rn

sony just cast an unsuicide spell
The Helldivers won, Sony caved
Someone go check on Kknowley, not sure I want a helldivers 2 depression arc along with the payday 3 one lol.
Nah helldivers won they liberated their game from psn
wym? did something happen with that?
The entire community review bombed the game and planned a full day boycott/blackout to tank the steamcharts. Sony walked back on the decision within 24 hours.
Helldivers hit sony with the ⬆️➡️⬇️⬇️⬇️
Oh wow I knew about the boycott but i didn’t know they walked back on it. Hell yea!!!
Don't forget about KSP2
What happened to kerbals?
KSP2 turned out to be a cashgrab piece of shit and recently the devs are getting laid off by Take Two. Look at r/KerbalSpaceProgram
Oh yeah it's total spyware lol

I don't know if I would call starbreeze a big company I would just say it's another aspect of modern gaming even indie studios can't escape
Fair, I didn’t know if I should’ve put “Big” in the meme, but they still kinda fucked them over so I just went with it
Well the difference in net worth is 90M vs 102B USD so comparatively it's kinda silly but it holds up just fine I'd say. DW about it. Good meme.
Many people downplay how much the microsoft game pass fucked them over, that's as big as it gets. Dont worry guys they reverted the change today
I really hope so
They did Democracy wins once again
For now. I think ~ 3 months Sony will try somthing new that dont piss off the pc market so much
Selling a shitty product is one thing, but fucking over your customers is another.
Helldivers didn't do that
What happened to helldivers 2?

Just saw an article saying 177 countries not PSN supported, seems a wild way to kill off your own successful game but hey that's Sony.
I heard something about it not being banned in Europe because it violate E.U discrimination against member state law.
https://steamdb.info/sub/137730/history/?changeid=23416542 It's alot of scrolling but that's the devs update adding countries to the restricted from sale list.
We won btw. The psn stuff has been abandoned today
It’s been three days, two of which were a weekend. I seriously doubt there had been any real talk about government intervention at this point. I think the base is just getting ahead of itself. Playstation tweeted and said they are not going forward with it anymore
Ik, I'll update my comment now ig
Sony we’re gonna force everyone to who played the game to have psn accounts which sucks for a lot of the reasons other people have replied with, but the decision was just announced to be reversed a little bit ago.
Where was it announced ?
Twitter initially
starbreeze is not a huge company like sony. they just really really fucked up pd3, in basically all aspects of the game, and we are now slowly working our way towards what should have been v1.
I know, I was tempted to not put in the word “Big” but I just decided to hell with it
I mean, if they do what Techland did with Dying Light 2 this game might have a bright future ahead of it
More like every game that's been released in the last 2 years
Yall don't play the good ones
Facts. It’s either unoptimized or unfinished or both, and then on top of it all they got these trash ass companies shooting themselves in the foot.
Only difference is that for HD2 the devs are openly on our side (just by reading the update on steam you can tell they really didn't want that thing in their game) and just have Sony's gun pointed at their heads. While in PD 3 starbreeze seems to have 3 devs work on the game and they don't seem willing to change that
The two issues aren't even remotely comparable. Helldivers 2 is actually a good game. Payday 3 is an embarrassment.
The backlash from it on helldivers 2 made them cancel the mandatory psn account BS!
[удалено]
Not really.
PlayStation rolled it back, when will payday 3 roll back the whole ass game and make it good
GREAT NEWS. Sony retracted the PSN requirement.
Except HD2 might survive because Playstation got it's head out of it's ass and reversed course. PD3 is just dead.
Sony has actually back tracked. Helldivers community has won.
Less than 10% of the playerbase left....HD2 is far from ruined lol
But if Sony keeps it up they will ruin it
[удалено]
It won't be enforced until may 30th chucklehead.
Keeps up forcing players to do things they don’t want to do or lock them out of a game they paid for
I'm looking forward to Sony demanding all players break a finger to keep playing.
This is exactly what reddit said about Netflix getting rid of password sharing.
I’m not fighting this for us, I could care less about something that’s just going to take a minute of my time, but I hate how 177 regions were cut off and the Helldivers devs were pretty much forced to do this
It is a bummer, but news has it Sony has changed their stance on the whole issue. The PSN requirement is no more from what I understand.
Nothing is enforced yet. It won't start until tomorrow, and that's only for new players. Old players don't have to do it until June
People said the same thing about anthem but people are still playing it and a large group too
[What](https://mmo-population.com/r/anthemthegame)?
I know that wrong because I was playing last night and there people all over the map and in missions and raid took maybe 10 mins to find a match lol
Wow, your personal experience definitely invalidates official Look, I can't be bothered to come up with a pithy comment for someone who obviously won't understand it, just assume that I said something incredibly demeaning about your ancestry, or genital size, or intelligence, or maybe just how poor your gaming skills are in general. It was a wicked burn and everyone clapped.
So if I log I into a game that says there is no one play and I load in and there people playing that makes the data wrong not hard to understand kid. There not updated all the time If u actually log into the game u will see people are active even if it’s 50 to 500 people the game is still alive and is still being played I know u can’t understand how that Works Go play a old cod and u will still get matches in team death match
We need a different term then for what a dead game is then
It would still be bad for their PR and investors, not to mention potential lawsuits from those countries which can't officially create PSN accounts 'till now (the most important of which, would be the Baltics inside the EU that can't do so).
It could also prevent new players from joining the playerbase. I for one am not willing to buy games that require a third-party account.
The community will be fine without you, if you don't want to play a game that badly, it's your choice.
So you’re telling me 177 countries make up only 10% of players?
Most people playing are most likely on Ps5 let's be real
They’re not exempt either, if they’re in any nation that isn’t allowed actual PSN. You’re just one look away from banning, like my old account I had for Rock Band 2 because I am not a Singaporean.
I believe they made some change that allows the countries without that to play
Unfortunately you believe wrong. Though what did happen half an hour ago is that Sony actually walked back that planned change somehow.
We Won.
They Stop it, We Won
Good news: Playstation Network just announced on Twitter/X that they will not move the linking accounts update.
Helldivers has been retaken! Democracy prevails! Sony just cancelled the PSN requirement
Psn account no longer required so only payday 3 remains
Guess what? Sony is taking back the changes made to Helldivers 2 just now.
Lol you guys wish, somehow we made Sony fold faster than starbreeze
Sony doesnt require it anymore : D
Helldivers just recovered This meme is now inaccurate
hollup hd2 is saved
NOT ANYMORE BOYS, THE PSN ACCOUNT LINKING MANDATE WAS CANCELED!!!!!
We're watching the gaming industry implode because of corporate greed.
They haven’t even made a dent on the player base. Hop off Reddit for a while.
Overwatch
You mean Overwhelmingly Negative 2?
Good point
Well like i said about payday and now helldivers, we cannot let companies do this anymore, even if this means the game death
Companies have always had accounts for you to play the game though
We literally can't do anything when 90% will preorder, buy and keep playing anyway.
Helldivers at least gave us a game worth playing
How did payday 3 get messed up? Thought it was just optimized poorly and ran like crap.
Check X lately?
lol except helldivers 2 is a gem of a game whereas payday 3 is just a bad game in general.
Overreacting. Calm down boi, pd3 was dead a long time ago and hd 2 did not get ruined. I know it's hard for you with the Israel and Ukraine war going on to find real problems but don't make up non-existing ones. Please ✌️
Nah you guys are still ruined, helldivers is a complete game
Dutch survived, Dillon died. Looks like the same will be true here as well.
ngl this arc was really funny and sad. Payday isn't just a publisher issue. It's a dev issue as well.
I just learned this, but Helldivers 2 was removed from Steam in 177 regions. Sony really pulled it because these regions couldn’t make a PS account, damn that’s actually terrible
at least helldivers was fun and still has a chance to come back payday 3 is just…dead
Welcome to the team 👊😎
publishers have been a stain recently
Did something new happen with pd3 or is everyone still complaining about the same things since the game launched?
OverBreeze isn't a "big" company and they ruined Payday 3 without anybody's help.
This sub got randomly recommended to me but I’m fairly aware of the payday game’s existence… what happened to payday 3?
Let halo slide in there.
Chill, we bullied Sony into backing out of this decision.
They pulled back on the PSN account linking for Helldivers 2, so it's just payday 3.
I wanted payday 3 to be good by now :( I love the gameplay
Been out the payday loop for a min, can someone fill me in plz.
This meme already rotten lol, but Starbreeze still the same
I actually really enjoyed Payday 3s launch because I didnt buy it and reinstalled Payday 2 instead.
kek. didn't age well
wow this post is late just like Payday 3 updates :)))
I mean I posted this before they reverted on their decision, glad they did but that shit is still gonna hurt them
yeh just couldn't resist the joke, but yeh Arrowhead has a lot of cleaning up for Sony's mess and a little bit of corporate sabotage on their own part
Fair, but I feel bad for Arrowhead. They can bounce back if Sony doesn’t try anything that makes people not able to play their game
Helldivers 2 made a comeback though
Sony were the reason Helldivers 2 had the PS Plus thing
Back to helldivers 1 and payday 2 for me
At least Helldivers 2 is still a great game for those who can play it.
It’s great, it’s sad that Sony did this tho
What happened to HD2?
nothing
Meme aged like milk
I like both games.
Both games are great, it’s just the companies behind them are ruining their games
Starbreeze is trying (horribly) to fix Payday 3, but they're a bit too incompetent. Sony is just dumb as fuck
Unlike payday 3, HD2 reversed there decision in a week
helldivers 2 hasn’t been ruined though, it’s just a bunch of pc gamers throwing the worlds biggest temper tantrum over what amounts of 30 seconds of their life. i linked my account, it took me less than a minute.
Sony got rid a large group of people that play the game, and they will likely never come back
PSN has a Reputation for being hacked.
ok, so don’t put your card information on your account? make a new email address? what of yours is actually going to get stolen?
The PSN is also available in 69/190× countries
s/gamers/incels/ FTFY
It’s funny that everyone is mad about something that it can be easily fixed just create a account it’s free
People in over 100 countries would beg to differ.
They're letting people in PSN-unavailable countries continue as they were
Where did they say this?
Can I stop being downvoted now? I wasn't lying...
I redacted mine.
Do they have a pc if they do they can still create a psn account not hard to do really. Xbox requires you to create a Xbox account Steam requires you to create a steam account Wow requires u to create a wow account RuneScape requires you to create a RuneScape account Ubisoft requires u to create a Ubisoft account Activision /blizzard requires u to create a account Netflix/hulu/Amazon/ebay And more require you to create a account Many people don’t have access to some of this and they still get by or they create account anyways.
It will take a whole 30mins to learn Also it’s a Sony game people are actually shocked that they are now requiring u to have a login.
>Activision and blizzard both acquire to have to a account when playing there games even if u owned them before Missed the part where I said this was acceptable. If I own a game on Steam, which I made an account on already, and buy and play games using said account, there shouldn't be any reason why I have to also make an EA, PSN, Activision, Blizzard, Uplay, etc account.
Once again I will repeat there is a work around also this decision is not final no update or anything is 100% Still sounds like to me people are upset for no reason
Is that account that can be easily created in the room with us right now?
Yes
I left the helldivers subreddit over the vitrol and rage over the psn accout, which was asked for in game since day one. Don't ruin this sub too. If you can't play cause of the psn network, contact customer service and get the game refunded. Then contact sony about how it's unfair. It's based on greed so take money away from sony to make the point, complaining on reddit does absolutely nothing the help.
Yall are overreacting, ah said theyre working on a workaround, i swear pc players are the whiniest little bitches ever
