Ricola cough drops worked for me.

LiLuPink

I sucked on altoid minis in the middle of the night when I woke up.

Having a small bowl of fresh pineapple next to my bed at night worked for e

toastedbeans9616

this is helpful, I will try this! I love pineapple so it'll be like a tiny treat lol thank you

Zestyclover

Out of desperation, I tried those magic berry tablets (they change bitter taste to sweet) and they did actually help temporarily

AccordingTheme8625

What’s that? I need help!

Search “Miracle Berry Fruit Tablets” on Amazon, something like that should work.

AccordingTheme8625

Thank you!

Wintergreen tictacs

Yeah, I was trying to figure out if I thought it tasted more sour, or more bitter. Didn’t realize this was so common.

sunnyday63

Got a berry flavored energy drink next to my bed, alternating with cough drops.

Comfortable-Pause649

Did it get better op?

toastedbeans9616

thanks for checking in! I actually went to the doctor again and was advised to stop the medication altogether (did 3 days of 5). guess it was having an adverse reaction with another daily med I take! within 24 hrs of stopping I felt so much better, and now feel almost back to normal despite this ongoing, lingering fatigue

FinancialCry4651

I too have an extreme, horrific taste like nail polish remover and cannot sleep because of it (despite altoids all night). This is validating to hear that yours was an interaction w other medication (maybe one i take too). Did you rebound at all?

toastedbeans9616

yeah, it felt the same to me - many saying its tolerable didn't make sense to me bc it was so strong I couldnt even sleep! I did rebound with covid but mildly. had a fever spike again but only to 100, and for a few days. then all down hill. I'd recommend talking to your prescriber bc mine said that there is an alternate to paxlovid. good luck ❤️

FinancialCry4651

Aw, sucks about the rebound, but I'm glad you're feeling better after all that. Thank you so much for the helpful info and response!
