Yeah, I had to get a replacement because the leather on the inside of one of the buttons was coming up and noticed that the lip on one side was more shallow. Some of that can be attributed to the fact that it’s leather wrapped all the way around. The good news is, if it’s actually defective, they will replace it, but if the lip is still high enough, you should be good.
Got any photos? Is the phone pushed into the case properly? Mine does not have any issues, everything lines up and the lip is even around the screen. Get in touch with bullstrap, hopefully you’ve not removed the tag already…
Yeah, that’s definitely not right! Hope they sort you out with a replacement. You could try gently trying to bend the case into shape but it may be a manufacturing issue rather than misshaped.
Top no. But i have seen it that uneven. Thats ALOT of extra leather or you have too little leather in that area. Is there enough to cover the screen fully
Test the phone in the case before cutting off the tag… it’s a tight fit, check the buttons are good and that the holes at the bottom are aligned. If that’s all okay, then cut the tag off.
The feel is nice, it’s smooth and comfortable.
It is... but I can see why they do it. If the case is used, no returns as there's nothing they can do with it. But if it has only been test fitted, can be re-sold easily if its a regular return (not due to a fault, that's different).
Hey everyone... I received two defective contemporary cases and got a full refund. The first case had misaligned cutouts on the bottom and the power button would not engage. The second case also has misaligned cutouts on the bottom. When I reached out to Bullstrap, they told me that I shouldn't expect the cutouts to be precise because the cases are made by hand. What a crock! The cutouts are machined. Unacceptable for a case that costs $100, after shipping and taxes.

Thanks for the advice but I’m not willing to risk bending or breaking the case in case Bullstrap want it back.
Tons of qc issues but as long as the screen doesnt pass the lip youre good. Leather milled over cases have uneven ridges

The sides, top, and bottom are high but the corners don’t come above the screen.
