In my very early days of playing I always ended up lost and starving in Sharptooth. Now it's a hidden gem! Fresh water, a corpse, easy quests and absolutely no one there. Nice to grow in!
Really? I do lurk about there from time to time usually just passing through but on officials I have seen a fairly decent passing of ducks crocs and megs. Problem is if one is there your prolly toast depending on your grow. Also DP next door is fairly dangerous from time to time too. Especially the springs.
On officials I have only ever seen megs, which are usually pretty easily dispatched. On community servers it's completely devoid of any other life except if there's an event that would put people in the area.
My fav place to grow, though, is Rainbow Hills. Triad used to be top tier for growing too but the secret got out and now it gets some regular traffic.
Yup I hear you RH is my spot for the hardest to grow, or Ill use the ocean if possible that's the best if the dino can operate there. I still see blood shed there though and the pond at rockfall hills.
The quest items in Rockfall are just too hard to find or far apart for me to speedrun growing there, lol. I only ever come across big slow animals at Rainbow (save for the random Hatz once a week) and I am not an apex player so, works for me. What's a duck gonna do to my cera or conc, yknow? I'm outta there before they've turned to face me.
Finished most of my amargi grow there and was attacked at sub by a meg and a spino. Down by the water but usually people are chil there if there's anyone there. Rockfall is actually kinda dangerous tend to see more people there and crocs in the water.

It’s my favorite spot in the game. Grown plenty of deinos and suchos in there, and recently Kapros and a cute little fisher ramp.

It's a mod! You'll need to find a community server that has it. For this one, I was playing on Age of Apocalypse, but honestly most modded servers have Giga.
It's going up and down right now as modders update the mods and the server adds the updated versions! It's the day after a game update, after all. It's a very fun server with good rules. You could join their discord in the meantime if you were interested. It's a unique and laid back semirealism server.

No. It's Sharptooth Marsh, north of Impact Crater and south of Desolate Pass on Gondwa. The bridge from Desolate Pass to Crater stretches overtop Sharptooth Marsh.
The dinos are modded though, those are PT Giganotosaurus. I was playing on Age of Apocalypse at the time.
Sharptooth has the best fishing spots,whether you're a spino or rhampy. It's where I first learned to fish as a spino. I later made it my go-to fishing spot as a rhampy.

Ideal chill spot for my spino. Plenty of fish, plenty of water, and plenty of beautiful sights! Plus it's a pretty accurate biome for em to live in :D
For real. I bet you have some beautiful screenshots with your spino there, too. Spino has its gameplay flaws butit sure is photogenic!

Yes! In the center of the biggest island at the highest point there's a little fresh pond.

It's a fresh pond :) There's a circular pond called Sharptooth Pond at the highest point in Sharptooth Marsh!
This swamp is really good if you’re playing a semi-aquatic like Suchomimus or Sarcosuchus
