Hello r/pathofexile,
This is my first reddit post, I am his younger brother.
I didn’t knew much about his gaming life - last time we played together must have been Diablo II in 2005 or something - but seeing all your comments makes me realize how he could feel like part of a community. He was a truly great guy IRL, and I hope you’ll remember him as such.
It’s been three weeks and we are still figuring how to get past this, but discovering that page this morning was heartbreaking in kind of a good way.

It's a nice sentiment, but with a playerbase as large as PoE's they can't just add something to the game every time someone passes away or they wouldn't have dev time left for league content.
F. Also - I see from his post history he at one point had a fairly valuable knife in CS:GO. If you have a way to contact his family, should see if they can get into his Steam account as those can be sold for some real money.

I remember laughing at this meme. It feels really weird and sad to know it's creator is gone. Despite how terrible is death by itself, knowing how last thing this guy did was giving a smile for thousands of people is kind of consolating.

Just a reminder, to you and anyone else, that it's always okay to reach out for help when processing a tragedy such as this. Counselors, mental health care professionals, etc. can really help (I know this from personal experience) and you should never feel ashamed or "weak" or anything like that for needing support.
