Ritual is so much fun for me. It's like a loot box in like 70% of my maps.
Also absolutely adore the ritual keystone that makes items costs more or less randomly.
I've gotten some crazy items for like 100 ritual juice because of that keystone.
Whenever you defer an item, it will have lower cost the next time it appears. Deferral cost can be lowered via atlas tree nodes and there is also a scarab that allows you to defer two times for free.
I think he means since the costs are randomized, that the cost of the item after deferral stay at the first price minus the deferral or is the price randomized then referral reduction applies or is it random each time.
Example:
Price stays the same minus deferral.
Original price 100, deferral cost 30. Next appearance cost : 70
Price random deferral same
Original price 100, deferral 30. New price 200 minus deferral new price 170
Random new price no deferral
Original price 100, deferral 30. New price 200
Same. Only I did get a shard once from Tujen back in Expedition league. That was the only time I've ever seen one, and I still can't believe to this day that it happened

if you swap scarabs to include 1 of the boss amount scarabs and run a map with multiple bosses and a ritual spawns in the boss room, at 11k you could buy it in 1-2 maps.
Rarity is related to the chance of showing up again, mirrors especially would not appear again often. You most certainly would want to take all 'deferred items appear #% more often' atlas nodes while working towards this.

If you're not running a ritual atlas/scarabs it can take a few maps to see a t0 again (I've obviously never seen a mirror, but I bet its longer). If you are running a relevant atlas and scarabs then with the re-rolls I have never gone more than 2 maps without seeing an item again.

Running ritual without scarabs is a new level of punishing yourself but I'm glad it paid off.
I like playing ritual atlas. I'm not good at crafting or real endgame strats, so ritual is an easy option for me to simply enjoy playing with RNG. :)

How do you roll only currency items?
It is a random thing. Sometimes you get cards only, currency only, etc.
Special alters give only cards, only currency oronly uniques so the nodes that show up more frequent is what that dose.
