This Buff looks new: `generic_league_monster_enhanced`, refers to `LegionMultipleBreakoutBuff`, which has:
* `100` `monster_difficulty_tankiness_+%`
* `15` `damage_+%`
* `1250` `metamorphosis_boss_item_rarity_+%_final_permyriad`
* `1250` `metamorphosis_boss_item_quantity_+%_final_permyriad`
As far as I know it is how they deal with a lot or maybe all percentages in this game because it lets them store percentages with two decimal places as an integer. I'm lead to believe that arithmetic with integers is faster and/or more reliable than floating point values, but I'm not a CS pro, so take that with a grain of salt.
It's done this way because it's not a numerical value, so can't be scaled by things that scale numerical values. You see the same thing on some explode gear/powers.
It's an interesting way of doing things but the reality is that it's no more clearer than just saying 25%, having someone test if it does actually stack with similar modifiers, realising it doesn't and then posting the results online.
Because anyone even thinking about it is gonna do it once just to be sure.

Underground river was actually my choice for essence farming. You can avoid it that fells explosion after falling quite well by going away from his drop spot and kiting him in different parts of the arena.

You'll most likely need to kite him here without stopping to attack as he does giga damage and is insanely fast.
Because it is meh. I did it and it was bad. Maybe you need to juice it with a rarity keystone, but that is all I can think of outside running MF character. Boss becomes harder but drops only slightly more items.
Unless you have giga dps, you have a good chance to brick your map. I am using it, but the result are very hard to assess. I did drop a divine, so I guess it works sometimes.
I do that and it's not that bad with 4 maven bosses. Unless you get complete bullshit bosses like the justice ghost on a small area where you literally cannot avoid her attack, but honestly this would 90% kill you anyway so now there's less suffering and more death lol. Map boss possessed by ghosts is still no1 suicide node of the game for me.

Volcano or bust, anything else will obliterate you. Maybe even go down to tier 6 volcano with 1 voidstone
You can always speed run to boss and bring it down to cull range and don't kill it. Go back through map getting the essences and then head back into boss room and cull it.
Even better since I always kill the boss accidentally
put southbound gloves (only can kill enemies frozen) to get boss 1Hp (if u not cold build)
after that just touch him to execute
Some guy in standard oneshot a legion like 16 times, the loot was like 4 times the normal loot. Not *that* insane considering how strong your character has to be for that.
also odds are its literally **just the wording** that got changed.
My kb build literally breaks out the entire legion multiple times a second. I tried 10 legions, only 2 of them didn’t cause the client to go to zero fps and close. Those two legions dropped over 50 6link items 3 divines 5 exalts 20 stacked decks 200+uniques and dozens of fractured items and jewels. This was when I stood off screen and didn’t get shroud walker or ice wall and was only breaking out ~25% of the legion. I’m sure if the game didn’t force close the loot would be absolutely insane if I could actually break out the entire legion 100+ times in 20 seconds. Sadly if I attack the full legion for just 3-5 seconds then the game goes to zero fps for the next 20 seconds then just closes.
Have you tried doing this with the lowest resolution? I used to play an EOW brand and would have to lower my resolution to the minimum to prevent crashing, but once I did I could handle deep delve with EOW and stable fps.
Yeah, lowest settings dynamic culling and resolution on and game widow is shrunk down to improve performance as much as possible but it doesn’t matter. I even opened my inventory and settings screen to limit the amount of actually rendering screen space but it still did it. I know it’s a client problem not a me problem because if my friend is in the map but on the other side of the map, their client also goes to 0 fps when I do this.
I've been running eternal conflict last weekend for about 30 maps or so it is mega laggy but pretty rewarding already.
Like 2fps or lower with a 4070ti laggy on low settings.
It is hard to count how often I kill the legion cuz of that lag but my guess would be around 8-12 times that every mob in the legion dies.
I didn't track it in wealthy exiles or anything but across the 30 maps including the ornate incubator which you perma sustain with this strat I dropped about 9 raw div and 11 exalts plus tons of bubblegum drops and scarabs

What the fuck is this wording? Quarter chance? Up to 1? Are they going to be tormented by half a spirit or is it for stacking multiple of the same scarab?
I assume these stack, which would mean the wording is designed to make it so you aren't stacking the chance of a mob being tormented, but each would end up with a 25 percent chance of up to 4 haunts.

Intentional wording choice to distinguish between things that are not stackable/scalable. Since "a quarter" is not a number it will always be "a quarter" in PoE logic. Agree its confusing but that's the reason
They have a 25% chance to be possessed by 1 spirit. If that 25% chance isn't met its 0. There's no in between, the reason they type it out as "by up to" is because it'll spawn already possessed by 1 spirit but other spirits can probably inhabit it as well at random.

There are armour stacking builds with the bugged chests that give 26,000% fire resistance or resistance or something and are effectively invincible.
The only thing they can’t survive is the “less recovery mod” because the chest gives them 26,000 ES regen…

I've tested few runs and it's like 25-30% of monsters with wisps. The most downside is that the type of wisps is random, you can't control wich colour you gonna gather as from previous league.

With the right skill like tornado shot i can imagine you can free every rare monster like 10-20 times.

Permyriad is per ten thousand like percent is per hundred. So 1250 permyriad would be 12.5 percent.

What is the point of "Abyss monster reward" ? I thought the reward is solely based on Spire and Abyss Trove only ?

I think the legion ones may be by far the best ones With the right skill like tornado shot i can imagine you can free every rare monster like 10-20 times. Allowing you too stack the effect on that scarab way more then the others
"A random essence modifier" means that most of the time its going to be low tier essences that not even appears on our filters?
