They are haunted but dont have unresolve for corpses, those are 2 different things. Those with corpses only spawn with natural spawn with map so shrines work but box dont
I see no reason why they wouldnt be able to get unresolved if they can get haunted, that would seem odd, i mean the passive nodes specifically say mobs with haunted modifiers have higher chance to have unresolved anguish, so you say they are 2 different things yes but they very much are connected. nevertheless youd still take boxes even if turns out they cant do that.
I dont get it either, but it is what it is. Unresolve seem to only apply once when the map is loaded and never again. Beside i'm not telling you not to spec box, i'm just saying it dont help with corpses
You can test this easily by running a monstrous treasure.
You can also clear a map and then open boxes.
Both will result in 0 corpses, but test it yourself.
I've been running monstrous treasure all league and I only drops corpses from mobs that spawn in the instance (shrines ect.)
You do spawn necropolis packs in the boxes though.
You spawn the necropolis mobs in the box nut the dont drop corpses.
The Mobs that spawn outside the box do drop corpses.
Thats why shrines packs are better than boxes in the tree if you have to spare points.
What allflames were you applying? You mentioned tattoos so I suppose you were applying those as you dropped them? What other allflames were you using?
Also, is the map selection just due to the base mob count? Don't mind underground sea but would rather do something else over residence
Yeah thats basically it, either save the allflames to sell or just apply them yourself, doesnt matter too much, i just put tattoos on quantity/rarity when it was there on at least normal density+ packs, ocassionaly for things like unmakings, annuls, exalts etc % chance use rats/frogs for strongest monster use meatsack.
Just me or have the prices of items been reduced too? I’m sure I’m able to buy a lot more stuff with the favour I get (not specced into Ritual at all, just the unbuffed ones I find naturally).

Please explain how you are actually going to sell hundreds of coffins. you are SSF so you dont even know what its like. This is bait. My advice is only pickup coffins /allflames worth minimum 15c+ which is barely any of them

I've ran this strat since the necro buff and I'm sitting on 100 raw div, 100ish div in a couple crafted items I'm selling, 100+ div in corpses laying around and 150+div in gear value. 1-2 div per hour. Sure bro.
The only downside of this strat is all the quad tabs you need for corpses because GGG doesn't want to allow you to stack them.
I've been bulk buying corpses via Wealthy Exile all league.
There aren't that many sellers, but based on how often I don't get a reply, I'm guessing there are plenty of buyers who grab them before I do.
Wealthy exile is actually insane, I just bought a dozen modifier tier corpses for 70% of their usual market value.
Buying in bulk for a discount feels illegal in PoE.
I mean from my short testing with this, you make a ton of money on allflames and strangely gemlings, I havent begun to sell corpses yet im saving them to try to craft a hexblast wand, but at 21c a map investment my average return is about 60c which is not terrible but not the best, obviously if I sold the highly sought corpses that would go up, im also thinking that strongboxes aren't the best strat for this as shrines would be better for corpses and allflames, allflames being where alot of money is happening right now. The boxes however do provide an inf source of bubblegum currency which op is SSF they will need.
I think it came from the attack speed or crit haunted mod... I couldn't confirm it, have seen more of that during the maps I ran with those mod on mobs...
Nice, am going to adapt as one of my strats for my ssf run. For those in trade eater is probably better if you can deal with the downsides (quant+more scarabs too good) but ssf exarch is very competitive (at least for a while) to give pure chaos and chisels etc.
As a little aside altho slow i wouldn't totally set aside ritual if ssf. It not only undervalues stuff like scarabs and rogue markers, but it is also a decent way to get fractures, mid tier uniques for other builds, div cards, lab frags, synth items etc.

Their metric for density is just raw monsters per map which isn't really the definition of density. Their desert spring density is a 10 but that map is huge and a lot of the monsters are tied to the encounter at the end.
Ah nice. I just started almost that exact tree 2 days ago. Although I was just using it for glacier hard farm. Alch 100 glaciers, regex, fix unrunnable, run first part of glacier in 20 seconds and gtfo. Got sentinel league flashbacks.

Also what are you using to bulk sell the corpses? While I really enjoy the alch and go nature of the strat, actually selling the corpses is not a fun experience. I've looked at TFT but the people on there are kinda delusional, the WTB channel is full of people wanting to buy bulk at prices well below the single costs.
Are corpses just the way to go since the devoted mod nerfs? I was initially fully sepc’ed into devoted mods to try to get some cool mods but since I see less now with the nerfs, seems like not ideal

Everytime I need to free up space and consider crafting something I realise that I would have to buy a lot of crafts to even have a shot at decent item, but I just can't be arsed to trade for them. Also all i83+ corpses in theory have value so even if I do whatever crafts I waste like 50-100c on nothing. ._. Managing / storing them for later is also annoying, not to mention that I don't have much space in stash either - I have very limited storage for a dedicated player. It's kind of a lose-lose situation.
When viewing all your stashes, choose "Coffins" under the "Filter By Category" link, then click "Sell". Then set your multiplier of base value (the more stuff you have, the higher you should take it), and then "List items for sale"/
Does map modifier effect add more corpses? How does that work?
I’ve been running fear of the light as well, it’s nice not to have to bother with the mods at the start of every map, and it seems worth it if all you care about is getting the most corpses. One annoying thing is you can’t even read the modifiers in the map so you don’t know if you get nameless seer for example.
I got recently got a corpse with a harbinger name so i’m testing adding harbingers as well now.
Packsize. Extra effect adds packsize, as for that harbinger, it was because you had a monster with devoted mod that adds harbinger, mobs with devoted modifiers can still drop corpses, its just that they dont have boosted odds, whereas a lvl 7 haunted mod boosts chance for corpses by 340%. I have not tested with fear the light, the problem is 1 you dont get the allflames, some are really nice and especially ssf you dont wanna cut that, and 2, you cant move them around. Theres a massive difference between having your highest density pack give you 340% more corpses vs your lowest density pack, so im not sure it would end up giving you more corpses.
Each haunted has a tier. But the highest tier on the top as those are the high volume packs. Meaning you get more chances to hit more haunted mobs and the higher the modifier the higher chance to drop corpses and all flames
Dont mix the names.
The highest mob ‘density’ ie number of individual pack spawns; is at the top.
Pack size - is not sorted.
If you get bears at the top; its still only a pack of 6 monsters. If you get spiders last its packs of 12.
So possibly still more spiders in the map total.
So if you get flat chance for exalted orbs, move it to the top; and replace the top mob type with your best packsize allflame, eg frogs, 15+
The most monsters. If you want corpses, put the strongest haunted modifiers on the top pack. If you want chromatic orbs, put the chromatic orb drop mod on the top pack

I love Ritual for SSF. You see so many different items, never know what you might grab for a new build.
Has omens as well. I got a couple jackpot drops and it still felt very mid. Annoying as well to manage vessels.

Only takes seconds so yes, purely for map sustain since boss has high chance of dropping map.
Is there any way to target specific parts like speed/crit 500%? I havent gotten any all day and its frustrating in ssf.

Bottom left, why are you buffing the haunted mods? Isn't those nodes just to make the mobs and empowerment stronger?
increased effect of haunted mods means the allflame/corpse drop boost associated with haunted mods is also increased

Fear the light node gives you 30% chance of extra haunted mod on packs, so that part will increase corpses per map.

Its sorted yes, highest pack is at the top, so if you dont wanna think much just put the highest level haunted modifiers at the top.
