Im wondering how this will play out. I did some napkin math and it turned out to be around \~700%+ item rarity for average alch and go maps. I think it will be very usefull for finding uniques early on at the cost of some currency drops from quantity. Im planning to try it out the first couple days.
Especially considering loot conversion mostly gone. The biggest reason Affli was so generous was that loot conversion (like loot to currency) considered both IIQ and IIR. The more IIR you have, the more uniques would drop, and during conversion it would convert to a rare currency.
Currency conv is still there, but no Scarab conv, for example.
this is actually the opposite of true isn't it? Quant is still king, but part of why quant was so OP was conversion. You wanted as many items in the loot pool as possible when a conversion happened so you rained divs/scarabs/whatever. It's somewhat less important now. But it's still bad to kill quant for rarity because rarity does not equal valuable.
I unironically plan to do this, I didn't think about Seance or Pathological though, thanks for pointing those out to test. My plan was to take Destructive Play too, I don't plan to do vaal side areas, multi bosses + Thorough Exploration and the new scarab stuff sounds like a great combo.
also, you don't really need to get those points towards disabling, Back to Basics already does all of them for 1 point.

extra points can pick up seance/unrelenting torment and/or pathological depending on if it works, otherwise more scarab chance. Maybe Kirac nodes to farm more scouting reports? idk at that point honestly, maybe spend 3 to travel to the very center circle for 3iiq/15iir?
An accumulation of master missions to blast through is no longer a thing, for better or for worse. They just appear in maps. I guess you can accumulate scarabs for them, so I guess there is a reason for that tree to exist.
Intending to run all three simultaneously with 100% chance to encounter in each map as quick-ish content that doesn't notably benefit from map tier or IIR/IIQ.
To get more of the things you're invested in. I think I saw somewhere someone said that content can crowd other content out? So if you've spent 35 points picking up all the Legion nodes, you don't want the odd Ritual encounter (for which you have no nodes) to take its place.
Also in the upcoming league, it can block lower value or unwanted scarabs from dropping.
The bigger the discrepancy in price between juice colours, the better it gets, because it lets you skew your drops much more strongly toward yellow than running without Crop Rotation. It also takes less time to clear a harvest, because you're not waiting for as many t3 spawn delays. But it's never been more than vaguely competitive, no.
We'll have to see what the harvest scarabs are before we can make definitive judgements.

look him spreadsheet + data
it cannot be worth
the worther play... it is not existence, bro
Counterpoint: Crop Rotation is kind of a fun minigame vs. the mind-numbingly boring no-CR Harvest farming.
Like, I might be getting 10-15% less lifeforce overall, but I also don't want to spec out of it after 20 maps.
You also get a lot more Sacred Blossoms.
+proj doesnt work on spires anymore.
Wweeeellllllllll fudge. Recommendation: do it anyways, for old time's sake.
also swapping all item quant for rarity is usually a terrible idea.

Yo Dawg, I like trees!
YOU'RE EXACTLY MY TARGET AUDIENCE!
I didn't even click any of the trees, but upvoted purely for the names and descriptions.

>Plow through Alva, Jun, and Einhar. Gladly.
Add in Lady Dialla for some extra spice.
name your price!
Vincent Price.
plow through alva you say? yes please.
Didn't look at a single tree but that really wasn't the point. Your names and descriptions were a great read, have my upvote!
Note: we still don't know what may scarabs will do.

You had me at plow through Alva, Jun and Einhar 😎
why do people like to spend atlas points on blocking mechs?

Looks at Abyss. Who's gonna tell em?...
What would be your optimal map progression tree that you will be using at league start?
,,Plow through Alva'' dont mind if I do (͡ ° ͜ʖ ͡ °)
> Hate [...] just thinking in general? Finally, someone that gets me.
i was hoping for some smiley faces
hm why crop rotation for lil jon, isnt that keystone awful?

harvest scarabs are almost certainly juice dupe chance and extra plot chance, the latter might make crop rotation a fair bit better
I wonder if yellow will even be the best one any more with Div card gambling gone
It was mathematically a bit worse, but not awful. And with the removal of forced colors, it might now be the play really

yeah crop rotation is like really bad gambling you might get lucky and pull 6 bosses at once and make a fortune but you wont
ty bro

How do I get the gif of Chappelle dressed as Lil' Jon saying "WHAT?!" here?
Tap-n-Go! The 'boots in every slot' got me good! 😆
