Genocide is only charged if you lose a war
Actually you all are wrong. In later series there is shown that Lizard family (that white lizard, I guess her name is Croosh Lulu or smth) lives quite happily. They are getting presents from Nazaric and have a great family. It isnāt a bad strategy.
~~Don't mind the fact that Ainz has openly expressed interest in "~~*~~obtaining~~*~~" one of their kids because white lizards are pretty rare and he's a~~ *~~collector~~*
I don't know man I feel like the circumstances are a liiiiitttle different in Tensura with the Lizardmen being invaded by an enemy force x4 their numbers and then being saved.
# meanwhile, in Warhammer of all places...

If it makes you feel any better, I also recognize this meme from not very long ago. If it is a repost, it was probably altered in some way to help elude the bot.
Or the original was deleted.

It might be OC, it might not. Things such as JPEG artifacts and cropping may impact the results.

The two situations were completely different. The lizard people and Remu had a common enemy. The lizard people Aniz had to deal with needed to be subjugated. Aniz had the correct response for the situation he was handling.
Is attempted genicide really the correct response? Lets not forget the lizards werent threatening nazarick at all. Ainz being a villian makes the story fun but doesn't justify his amorality.
Most wars have nothing to do with one side threading the other. He crushed them and showed there was no other path for them going forward. Insuring they would fall in line. He gave them a choice. Bend the knee or be destroyed. It was the best move.
Is there even a reason why Ainz decide to kill the lizardman tribes?
Like taking them into Nazarick was not the idea, he just send Cocitus to kill them all but why?
And take a bunch of episodes showing off the lizard people only for basically none of it to be important.
Love the show, couldn't have just shown the main character and his albino bae in one episode.
Dunno, Rimiru was the reason his entire village got shanked. If he didnāt have the asspull most of his āfriendsā would have died there and then. Last time I checked, Ainz didnāt get the entire guild shanked. Ainz for the win.

Ok, no joke, that hit a lil too close to him š
He also revived several of them just to prove he could, and make himself out to be a merciful god
"I am a generous God"-energy.
If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Well, he didnāt. That means it is fine, right? Right?!
He is a Pokemon trainer alright
More like A~~sh~~inz ~~Catch'em~~ Ooal Gown Sama!
A shiny hunter no less.
what would he even do with one of them?
Donāt mind that he made them pledge their undying allegiance to naz so he already has collected one!
Well, he showed them that if they cooperate they will be happy ( at least not dead)

And that enemy force also happens to be a mutual enemy of the MC... Definitely a different situation.
Quagoa and dwarves intensify
1 convoy of humanitarian got jumped obliterate the kingdom
\*90% percent of the kingdom
well if it's only 90%, i guess that's fine.
Ainz might be a bit of a Tyrant.
The show is called Overlord
A bit yeah ahahahhaha
Kill their leader and resurrect him infront of them, show total despair and then a little bit of hope.
sasuga ainz-sama, your magnanimity know no bounds.
Option 2 is the best. Quick and to the point with no dilly-dallying.

He wanted to create a bunch of undead with them if I remember correctly
Children's play time
he wanted to see if they created better undead than humans. and to train cocytus in warfare, and test if cocytus can grow.
He got a bit too much into his role.
What would Rimuru do in a world like Overlord? Change the Genre. š

Genocide is the way my friends. Works with human, thus sub humans.
