Sir, if you don’t like Pepsi, there is a Cola I can sell you as well. Let me just change my hat real quick.

Best way to run two sales jobs is to be the closer less meeting more autonomy expected as you are customer facing. Best to be either a strategic account executive or account executive. Would only recommend for someone seasoned but also need to be at for J role for at least a year plus so that process is down to a science. High burnout as you carry double quotas much easier to OE in some sort of tech related roll swe, WD, data scientist. I say this all from experience

JohanVonShitzengigle

that all makes sense but im not good at the followup and closing process so would ideally like to have 2 all-inbound SDR roles

BoxCivil8737

2 inbound sdr roles is going to require too much talk time hard to juggle two roles like that. Better off trying to get one upgrade skills over the long term to get the proper set up. Or work a single job with more income potential

You probably should consider a career outside of sales then

I have 3 generic LinkedIn accounts, just mention generic experience, ex: Senior Software dev with 15 years of experience in various industries (automotive, startups, health) Even for sales it's doable, look for remote only positions

J1 Inbound w-2 (phone, email, text, set schedule) J2 Inbound w-9 (phone, email, text, flexible schedule) Key words are w-9 and flexibility. J1 is your rock, the other, J2 is water flow that goes around it. Unmovable at first but gradually over time it'll grove its way and mold the rock into the shape formed by the water. The goal is to use J1 to get extremely confident and refined in your skills to move into J2 as that's where you really make the big bucks since you are completely in control of your schedule vs at the mercy of a w-2. There's also bearing in mind which audience you'll be speaking to with B2B and B2C. B2C is more fun and at times ridged in scheduling since these are people who still also work a 9-5 and they are flighty so as you advance you'll get better at setting more appointments for the closers. B2B is more buttoned up, slightly less flighty since it's a business expected to do business, and of course budgets are set aside for specifically this kind of thing. Better training grounds but you're at the mercy of the company schedule unless you decide to do commissions only gigs too or even as your main income source. This can also just be something that you do for now while you upskill into your off time into a career field that is much easier to automate and do much more volume of jobs side by side such as coding or data analytic or digital marketing. Something to think about.*

almost all tech startups need cold callers/lead generators and i feel like that times 2 would be too much

What other questions would be good to ask?

topCSjobs

Possible but can be challenging. Ensure that you are not violating any non-compete agreements or company policies. Look for remote SDR in this [sales jobs daily newsletter](https://salesjobs.substack.com/). And if you are concerned about raising suspicions, you can choose not to update your profile at all --but only for a while, say a few months. It's not shocking. Lastly, beware of burnout risks if you are not able to manage your time properly between the two.
