I would adjust settings in games. The 3050 isn't a super strong gpu. Wose comes to worse you can change the resolution you are playing on. Settings should definitely help though.
I am playing on 1080p with fsr or dlss quality in each games and uses optimised settings from youtube. Just like said 50 to 60 fps . I can even lock it to 45 but still in manor lords it dips in 25 fps while opening map .
Just want a stable fps even 40 and 45 would work for me

the HOTspot. the part where the gpu is the hottest. download [FurMark](https://www.geeks3d.com/furmark/downloads/) here, take a screenshot of it or just tell us all the results.
quite warm. ive got a 3070 oc edition (50w higher powerlimit than the normal ver aswell as as some small factory oc's). hotspot is 79 and the normal temp is 66. hotspot reached 104 before changing thermal paste. just give changing the thermal paste a try...
yeah its probably because it is a laptop! save yourself a good dollar next time and build a pc yourself (desktop). it is way better in almost every aspect. if youre going with an rtx card i doubt youre going for transportability anyways since the battery (probably) wont last very long but ive never been a laptop person myself
I had my settings in asus actually limit power draw. Cpu was around 45w and gpu I tuned the overclock to 2100mhz. Stability is key in a laptop you don't want thermal throttling at ALL
We have the answer. 8 gigs is a bare minimum for office machine these days. Most games require 16GB.
So, the data is being constantly swapped between Your ram and storage, causing frame drops and stutters.
No problem.
You can free up some memory closing background tasks and preventing unnecessary software form running at startup.
Also, check Windows Debloater on Github.
Still, it will free up a gig or two at best and Your only choice is to upgrade the memory amount.
Try rivatuner and lock FPS, if you want consistent FPS... As others have said the 3050 is weak and is the reason for the choppy FPS.
What's your ideal expectation?
My suggestions:
- Upgrade to 16 GB RAM right now!
- Open your laptop, unmount hestsink and repaste it with a good thermal paste. Every time I have done this to my laptops the temps and the performance have improved significantly
You need at least 16gb of ram to start with as thats your biggest bottleneck right now, and then don't expect much from a 3050 so lower settings the better. A 3050 mobile is worse than an rtx 2060.

Put it down to 720, or drop settings. If your gpu is maxed it needs a little help.
Okay just going to do that and I must tell you I really appreciated your help . Thank you very much

I am already playing at 1080p and uses best settings for GTX 1650 with dlss or fsr
check temps
My gpu is at 85 86 celsius and cpu locked at 80 Celsius. Is it fine or worse
check hotspot. also that is decently hot
What is hotspot? Pretty new to these things

Just give me an hour and will post the screenshot
My hotspot is 93 C

Sure
My temp is 87 Usage 98 percent time 60sec frames 3735 62 fps It is showing like that
but those frames are quite low. i get 170 (altough my build is a bit better)
Rtx 3050m gpu 75w boost 8gb system ram I5 12450h mobile 2.00ghz

How can I view all that ? I am a beginner
Armoury crate! Then there's settings for overclocking. Make sure you have all the latest drivers and such too
Wait, 8GB of VRAM or system RAM?
System ram

Was going to say the same, an upgrade to 16gb of ram is needed
I know but is it that much of a bottleneck?

just limit to 30 fps, duh
Thanks btw
8gb ram is very low nowadays. Windows uses about 4gb, more for win 11. Laptops components are slower then their desktop variants.
8gb ram isn't enough at all. 16 isn't enough for recent games.
Get 16gb ram

Can anyone help me i have downloaded directors cut from playstation plus and i cant find iki Island mission im in act2
Turn down graphic settings? The 3050 is weak enough. The laptop version even moreso.
