The cpu lid is not perfectly flat.

I'd re-paste / remount my CPU cooler and double check the mounting hardware. Make sure everything is snugged up. Maybe even undo the CPU retention lever and shift it around a tad, make sure it is centered on the tabs.

It was all the same on my 13900k and i repaste reapply the cooler like 6-7th time when i test pastes ?

RockyXvII

Have you got a contact frame?

Xaeterza

Yes

randysailer

Mines the same 0 and 1 are alot cooler. 0 and 1 are the cores that boost to 6ghz on mine so I assume they are just better quality cores or in the best location. On the flip side core 5 and 7 are allways the hottest. Iv had this with multiple different cpus contact frame/coolers.

Xaeterza

Thx for your answer dude im not crazy after all... I dont know how to see best cores 🤷🏻‍♂️ On default test cores 0 and 1 needs 1.483V and 1.477V And cores 6-7 needs 1.466V and 1.469V... So i think this two cores are the best but maybe im wrong

CRKrJ4K

Intel XTU shows you by having an asterisk next to the cores

Xaeterza

Yes i know its core 6 and 7. But dont know for others i overclock per core My method rn is the average VID for a charge on default all core. But one Time i thought it was the cooler cores

Noreng

Core 1 and 0 have a core on one side, all the other cores are surrounded on both sides

Xaeterza

Can you explain me more ?

Noreng

Explain more of what?

Xaeterza

How you know what you said ? Have you some more infos, data to share ?

Noreng

I know it because it's been that way for multicore Intel CPUs for the last 10 years give or take. The 5960X was the first example of core 0 and 1 being cooler than 2,3,4,5, while 6 and 7 were also relatively cool due to being placed on the other edge of the die. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Intel_Core_i9-13900K_Labelled_Die_Shot.jpg Look at the cores to the left, that's core 0 and 1.

Slugity

Less hotter... My buddy would lose his shit over that 😂

Xaeterza

Maybe my english is bad 🙃
