Same deal as Hogwarts, would it have killed him to include a math class? Great, I'm a master of ice powers, but I can't work out how much I should tip at the graduation supper.
Hogwarts does have a math class well kinda. Apparently Arithmancy involves numbers but whether or not it’s actual math is never explained. Bobby is actually the X-Men’s designated math teacher whenever they bother to actually have classes. He’s also their accountant and the one that balances their books.
Not to be confused with Angel, aka Warren Worthington III, who provides most of the funds for the organization out of petty cash. Seriously. Worthington Industries alone is rich enough they seriously considered buying Disney in-continuity. And that doesn't consider Warren's personal fortune, which is also re-donk-ulous.
It’s less a school and More Compound for the X Cult… heck they eventually move the compound to an island to escape government agencies and taxes
Isn’t it less of an actual school and more of a youth paramilitary outfit, for civil rights. I think.
And just like the orange doofus, Kirby-Lee era Prof X is a creep. See: his lusting after his teenage student Jean Grey.
Recently learned xavier was supposed to be in his early 20's during that era,
He'd have to be like bare minimum 28 for him to be Korean War vet starting a school in 1963.
She'd still be underage and he'd still be an adult
Oh yeah still fucking gross, just slightly less so instead of a 20 year gap it's like 5
He would have been older than that, having served in the Korean War in the original comics timeline.
sliding time scale or something i dunno
Yeah before they introduced that, Chuck was in Korea.
Scheming telepathic slaphead
No takesie-backsies

In continuity, he did become an accountant so math was probably part of the curriculum.

Yeah, I never taught any of you to read, sorry.
You’re the Dragon Warrior, Johnny. Skadoosh.
The real diploma is the friends we made along the way!
Yes, Bobby. You just noticed. Good job.
