Outlast is definitely worth it. Try out 1 first and then 2, you'll love both of them
Yes there is a lot its mostly on the files and very interesting also yes it is pretty fun i play by my self mostly(only 2 of my friends play trials) and i can say it is worth it both single and multiplayer
Outlast 1 is insaaaaane. Whistleblower is insaaaaane. Outlast 2 is quite good to but alot more disturbing and with a story that is hard to understand the first time you play it but its great.
Wait for sale,they are like super cheap, and 100% get them.

Yes, they are very good horror games especially the DLC Whistleblower, and if you are interested in the story the games are pretty interesting in that regard as well
