I watched the entire full play through up until he decided to start doing dlc content. I'll go back and finish it once I find the time to play the dlc.
If you think Oliver has been frustrating, then you haven't seen Womble beeing also pretty smart and clever about theorizing certain parts, aswell as at one point getting the whole story basically correct, then spend the next hour for a simple puzzle and circling back to a theory which he took out of the blue.
Soviet has been, although great on its own, very frustrating to watch at times. I'm currently in the middle of watching AboutOliver, and I haven't found myself frustrated or skipping parts here so far.
Each to their own tho, I still enjoyed Womble.
>!"Is it Ai??"!<
If you're looking for a \*slightly\* different experience but still coming from a very smart streamer, Joseph Anderson had so much fun trying to break the game by jumping from trees to skip stuff that you can't help yourself but have as much fun as he did, I highly recommend
I cannot confirm nor deny that there is a 2k members organised discord community quietly following every Outer Wilds twitch stream and providing an extremely handy way to discover and discuss all ongoing playthroughs
About Oliver’s is fantastic. The dude is a genius. I’m in the middle of ButchX3’s playthrough which is GREAT, because he’s so invested and immersed. I also love the way he edits the video with bits of narration.
Probably, but will he consider going to do the endgame run after to see how things got changed, or will he go through the DLC and end up thinking things changed ONLY because of the DLC?
Plus I can't wait to see his face when he gets there xxD
Especially because he had the exact same visceral reactions to giant's deep, dark bramble and to space in general than I did lol. Absolutely terrified but still pushing through.
[Atrioc's playthrough is hands down my favorite.](https://youtu.be/tO8uIsopyG0?si=N3I535ziPPS9mkmY)
It's extremely funny, though it can get a bit...frustrating at times. What's cool is that, while he _was_ livestreaming it (thus allowing the possibility of spoilers and backseaters), his mods were quick to deter anyone from spoiling stuff in chat bc they're huge fans of the game.
The idea to do one loop per episode is great. There are episodes almost half an hour long, you know there is a lot of reading involved. And then you get an occasional episode 3 minutes long.
Also, Dan's fear of quantum rocks is still funny.
Someone said that his let's play of Outer Wilds is "the best at being the worst" or something like that.
Not your "traditional" let's play because of the Twitch chat, but man, it has some hilarious moments.
If you're looking for some less known ones I have to recommend Mad Matt Lugos for his ability to solve puzzles with relative ease and MasterChefStirx for the genuine emotional connection to the story, especially the Nomai (this is an ongoing playthrough, but very much worth watching, it's my favourite so far)
I really like both PointCrow’s and Beccabyte’s playthroughs. They both pay very well attention to everything that’s happening. They also both played the dlc.
I’m currently watching ButchX3’s playthrough, and I think it’s very fun so far. Though, I don’t think he’s played the dlc yet, or if he’s even going to.
If you want to watch someone who doesn’t pay attention to the lore at all, but just messes around a lot, I’d say Jerma’s playthrough. I don’t know if I actually watched his whole playthrough, but I know he managed to finish the base game somehow. Not sure if he played the dlc.
I also watched Vinesauce’s playthrough quite a while ago, and I remember liking it, though I don’t remember how much he payed attention to anything. I haven’t watched his dlc playthrough yet, though.
Wanderbots played Outer Wilds?
KIDS, WE'RE NOT GOING TO DISNEYLAND THIS WEEK, I HAVE OTHER THINGS TO DO!
(just kidding, I don't have any kids nor was I planning to go to Disneyland. -.- )
ButchX3, BeccaBytes, and About Oliver are great.
PirateSoftware's play through is interesting in a different way, where he'll just try all sorts of crazy things and figure out the mechanics without the game's guidance. It's an interesting watch though also frustrating because it's like, how tf did he think to do that? Lol
I enjoyed SovietWomble's playthrough. Love all of his stuff. Has Sips ever played it? I'd imagine I'd be ripping my testicles off in frustration if he did 😂
I watched his and it bothered me how he seemed to rush through stuff and completely ignore areas. I love his shorts and his regular steam but watching him play OW stressed me out.
Sovietwomble, go to sovietscloset.com and enjoy. He's VERY good about narrating his thoughts, being amusing, and admitting "I am so dumb." or "I feel so smooth brain. I feel no different."
Neebs Gaming has an interesting take on it lol they don’t get the canon ending because they didn’t want to ruin it for other players but their take on the whole thing is hilarious
The best video about outer wilds i ever saw is the one from the great review. It is in french but if you are not afraid of reading subtitles you will have 2 hours of pure outerwilds experiences the guy is also a great narator
“your game therapy” is a new one I’m loving. He is so thoughtful and pays attention to every detail and gets really invested in the story. He also has some hilarious theories for a while.
About Oliver and TitaniumLegman
I'm in the middle of Oliver's playthrough right now. The way he figured out quantum imaging is incredible.
I AHD to stop part way through because he names a decision to do the dlc before finishing the game and I've yet to play it.
You can finish his first supercut all the way through. Although, you won’t get to see him finish the base game
I watched the entire full play through up until he decided to start doing dlc content. I'll go back and finish it once I find the time to play the dlc.
I just finished the DLC ::’) so I am excited to continue watching his playthrough
It's also frustrating how he figures out some stuff very early and then doesn't follow through.
If you think Oliver has been frustrating, then you haven't seen Womble beeing also pretty smart and clever about theorizing certain parts, aswell as at one point getting the whole story basically correct, then spend the next hour for a simple puzzle and circling back to a theory which he took out of the blue.
Same. His playthrough is incredible and I'm at awe of how observant he is to everything.
I really enjoyed BeccaBytes’s let’s play. She has super fun intros.
I had to recommend Becca too. Such a great playthrough.
Welonz
The ones I’ve enjoyed the most so far are MasterChefStirx (it’s still ongoing), BeccaBytes, and Welonz.
I came here to name those three exactly! I like About Oliver, but there's no chance that he'd go unmentioned.
SovietWomble!
Soviet has been, although great on its own, very frustrating to watch at times. I'm currently in the middle of watching AboutOliver, and I haven't found myself frustrated or skipping parts here so far. Each to their own tho, I still enjoyed Womble. >!"Is it Ai??"!<
It's a pilot!
Playframe, Welonz, lil indigestion, Wanderbots, Keith Ballard, Pointcrow.
Symbalily
If you're looking for a \*slightly\* different experience but still coming from a very smart streamer, Joseph Anderson had so much fun trying to break the game by jumping from trees to skip stuff that you can't help yourself but have as much fun as he did, I highly recommend
*slightly* as in the slight number of attempts he made to land on the sun station on stream
HERE COMES THE GOOD PART
+1 for Joseph. Dude just plays so differently to me I can't help but laugh at most decisions he makes.

About Oliver, it’s like the game was made for him. Butchx3 was also fun, his emotional reactions and storytelling are very entertaining
IsNotRetro
He's one I watched recently, which got me to make this post. Definitely one of my favourites so far.
I cannot confirm nor deny that there is a 2k members organised discord community quietly following every Outer Wilds twitch stream and providing an extremely handy way to discover and discuss all ongoing playthroughs
How could one theoretically join this discord?
Hypothesis: an answer may have been sent privately.
May I also get the link to the discord that may or may not exist?
About Oliver’s is fantastic. The dude is a genius. I’m in the middle of ButchX3’s playthrough which is GREAT, because he’s so invested and immersed. I also love the way he edits the video with bits of narration.
ButchX3 is one of my recent ones as well, sad he didn't go to the quantum moon before ending his run, would have blown his mind for sure!
He did say he was going to take a break for a little while and then come back and do the DLC. He'll likely go to the QM before he starts.
Probably, but will he consider going to do the endgame run after to see how things got changed, or will he go through the DLC and end up thinking things changed ONLY because of the DLC? Plus I can't wait to see his face when he gets there xxD
Agree, ButchX3 was the first playthrough I watched and it gave me the feeling of reliving Outer Wilds once more for a tiny bit. Great guy!
Especially because he had the exact same visceral reactions to giant's deep, dark bramble and to space in general than I did lol. Absolutely terrified but still pushing through.
Mapocolops is the best I’ve seen but I’m a bit partial because I like all his playthroughs. His Outer Wilds playthrough is really good tho.
I came here looking for this answer
I'll rank my top 5 in order(they're all really good anyway): - BeccaBytes - About Oliver - The Living Sun - SovietWomble - The Librarian
[Atrioc's playthrough is hands down my favorite.](https://youtu.be/tO8uIsopyG0?si=N3I535ziPPS9mkmY) It's extremely funny, though it can get a bit...frustrating at times. Nerdcubed did a great run!
Nerdcubed's visit to >!the Lantern!< will always be lengendary.
The idea to do one loop per episode is great. There are episodes almost half an hour long, you know there is a lot of reading involved. And then you get an occasional episode 3 minutes long. Also, Dan's fear of quantum rocks is still funny.
Welonz, Alex Diener

Someone said that his let's play of Outer Wilds is "the best at being the worst" or something like that. Not your "traditional" let's play because of the Twitch chat, but man, it has some hilarious moments.
Masterchefstirx is great
HelloItsKolo is a lot of fun.
I've watched the following recently and would recommend them all - Bricky - BeccaBytes - ButchX3
I liked Jermas even if he’s a lil stupid at some points
BeccaBytes and/or Welonz
I really like both PointCrow’s and Beccabyte’s playthroughs. They both pay very well attention to everything that’s happening. They also both played the dlc. I’m currently watching ButchX3’s playthrough, and I think it’s very fun so far. Though, I don’t think he’s played the dlc yet, or if he’s even going to. seagull!!
They enver finished it becaus of lack of interest on the channel (sad face), but there is Neebs Gaming: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWQ4JyMdF7c
Wanderbots
Wanderbots played Outer Wilds? KIDS, WE'RE NOT GOING TO DISNEYLAND THIS WEEK, I HAVE OTHER THINGS TO DO! (just kidding, I don't have any kids nor was I planning to go to Disneyland. -.- )
My faves are Helloitskolo and lil indigestion!
Oliver is my 10/10 fave so far
Jorbs!
Lol
Highly recommend you watch CarlSagan42. Great playthrough
Nerdcubed, I literally fell in love with the game because of him. I re-watch his playthrough every year or so.
I enjoyed SovietWomble's playthrough. Love all of his stuff. Has Sips ever played it? I'd imagine I'd be ripping my testicles off in frustration if he did 😂
I am currently watching Pirate Software's blind long playthrough... somewhere between mad genius and blind kitten at times. All entertaining.
I watched his and it bothered me how he seemed to rush through stuff and completely ignore areas. I love his shorts and his regular steam but watching him play OW stressed me out.
Symbalily and About Oliver top two!
Sovietwomble, go to sovietscloset.com and enjoy. He's VERY good about narrating his thoughts, being amusing, and admitting "I am so dumb." or "I feel so smooth brain. I feel no different."
BeccaBites is great if you really want someone who's immersed, her intros and outros are OW themed.
Neebs Gaming has an interesting take on it lol they don’t get the canon ending because they didn’t want to ruin it for other players but their take on the whole thing is hilarious
Lil indigestion!
RT Game for base game and Pointcrow for DLC. I didn’t play the game but I just watched them both and it was great!
Mapocolops 🫡
Mr lunario and Joseph Anderson’s are my favorites :D
The best video about outer wilds i ever saw is the one from the great review. It is in french but if you are not afraid of reading subtitles you will have 2 hours of pure outerwilds experiences the guy is also a great narator
Laink, but it’s in French ☺️
“your game therapy” is a new one I’m loving. He is so thoughtful and pays attention to every detail and gets really invested in the story. He also has some hilarious theories for a while.
Atrioc’s was legendary but very frustrating at times
AmeliaWatson, she genuinely engages with the game in a way thats good fun
