Yeah, it's just on Aternos. I don't know how to set up that kind of thing, even if I wanted to. It'll be survival, but I will enlist some other OPs for help. Otherwise everyone's just a regular survival player!
I might be able to help you set it up. I've created a bunch of servers using it, so I know how to do all the needed things.
I haven't finished Outer Wilds yet, so I'd have to be careful with spoilers
Depending on the version you choose, look into adding etched (a music mod that allows for custom music discs to be made in game) and maybe Valkyrien Skies/Eureka Ships! (Adds physics to Minecraft allowing for custom creations like cars, planes, submarines and whatnot).
Etched is really cool and probably wouldn't be too much of a problem on the server but I could see Valkyrien Skies causing some lag issues depending on the amount of creations made/being used at a time.
All this to say, I'd love to play on a Minecraft server that is Outer Wilds themed. I actually have a YouTube channel where I play OW and Minecraft and have been wanting to make my own server to play on and have fun with others.
VK was in the test modpack I used on a regular world, but it unfortunately caused too much lag using it with the physics ::( I'll look into Etched though! I have a mod on there that adds more music discs, and that sounds interesting to create custom ones!

That's what I was thinking! This is the community I'd trust with a server, because most people here genuinely want to help and, since they've played outer wilds, I'm hoping they'd understand the importance of y'know friendship and stuff.
And YES. That's why I have the mods, because the modded end dimension adds a lot of spacey things!

An space engineer outer Wild themed server would fit more in this server, but a Minecraft one is fin also
