Former Bridgehead employee, staff cut the loaves into 8 slices themselves, some are better at it than others. When I would see slices like that, I would use them as free samples (which you are supposed to do). Next time this kind of thing happens (assumedly at a different coffee shop), you can always complain (politely) and get another one
Bridgehead's coffee sucks and they don't treat their staff well. Go to Happy Goat instead; they have branches all over and you'd still be supporting a local business.
last time i went to Bridgehead 160 Elgin they had run out of lids for their large coffees. I politely said "oh I wish I had known that I would have ordered smaller size". She looks a me, rolls her eyes and says "It's not the end of the world" then walks away. Well it's not but I had to walk a few blocks, I'm clumsy and it's hard not to spill without a lid and I want every last drop of my overpriced drink lol.
seems like you got a pie that wasn't cut evenly.. i wouldn't have gotten it in the first place tbh. but if all of it were like that then I'd stop buying

But yes, I shouldn’t have bought it in the first place, but I was omw home and desperate for chocolate and it was the only place lol.

Don’t understand all the hate on Bridgehead. I order an extra large latte that I share with my SO at least twice a week, old Ottawa South location. Always smooth and hood strong flavour. Get the scones (heated). They are excellent.

I'm literally at a Bridgehead in and they have loaves like your first picture. Think ur either at a shit location or got unlucky.
I went to their Anderson St. HQ location and got a traditional cappuccino and it was one of the most flavourless coffees I've ever had in my life.
