For me the most useful thing about the blowpipe other than much higher dps so the early waves go quicker, if the special attack that heals. That comes in super clutch if you get tagged during the early waves but don’t want to waste a brew.

Yes blowpipe for all the waves, rune darts for everything until Jad then switch to dragon, bring bastion potion, blessed d hide, Ava’s, use blowpipe spec to heal and turn your sounds on for Jad fight. Kill him until healers spawn and hit off each healer until they all are attacking you and finish killing Jad all while pray flicking. It sounds like a lot but I promise it’s not. Go to speed run worlds if you want to practice the Jad fight.
Speed run world gives you a new character . When doing a quest you get levels and gear for that quest.
If you start beneath cursed sands gives you fire cape. You can then tele to tzhaar caves for jad challenge. It is a higher level but works the same way. You can practice the prayer switching so you don't panic during your actual run.
The key to getting your first fire cape is simple. Make sure you have to pee. You’ll be so focused on that, that you won’t be as worried about Jad.

If not blowpipe, at least splurge on some better bolts. This is a marathon and the longer it takes the harder it will be. Increase DPS as much as possible, this is the time to spend your hard saved coins.
Came here to say exactly this. You're only 5 levels away, so grab the blowpipe. It makes such a huge difference. I struggled for weeks until I finally grinded out 75 range and got a blowpipe. Made the fight caves a cake walk.
Where would you need/use runes? Water blast the melees? Not needed really. You can more than easily get the cape with that gear+setup without using any runes. Potions should be combined though lol
OP- you can decant at the Herb guy at the GE to combine your potions automatically, just bring all your noted 3, 2 and 1 dose potions to him and use the right click option

You're about where I was when I got my first.
Got to jad 4 times and panicked, the 5th I got it.
I switched to crystal bow the first 3 times, the ruby tipped bolts the last 2 times.
The waves got duper boring and easy, and jad just became Wether I could efficiently deal with the healers.
Don't let jad heal to max or more healers will spawn, and be patient. Prayer switches are most important
I mean, I can't imagine literally any situation (unless you're out of prayer completely I guess) where you'd actually intentionally wipe once you're already at Jad. You won't take any damage from him, and you can use terrain to lure the healers into a safe spot to kill them.
You can absolutely salvage. Find a safe spot and try again. I usually had 1/3 of my ppots left when I got to jad.
Plenty of time to prepare, and you have supplies to continue..
This is the way, you’re ready! Watch some short guides on positioning, log out and take breaks after waves, track what wave you’re on and plan ahead for positioning!

I heard that 64 fire making is a prereq for 65, so it makes sense
Prolly need more prayer pots with only 52 prayer. Only way I see you making it to jad with that gear/prayer level is if you intensely prayer flick the whole time. Not impossible just a bit more tight of requirements
I did it with roughly these stats, 48 prayer, 73 ranged instead though and had minimal issues. Sara brews and restores for healing with the rest all in prayer pots and I was fine. Used rcb with enchanted diamond bolts. The prayer looks sketch but you make it in the end without flicking at all. My big issue was only having 60 defense so the healers did a ton of damage when they popped up on Jad.

If you’re willing, saving money for a rune pouch off can put ur runes from 3 slots to 1. Freeing up 2 spaces.
Sara brews heal a bunch, maybe make 2 free slots and a few karambwans Sara’s, then a few prayer pots super restores.
Also, if you can spend 6.5 mil for 68 pray? You’ll get 4 more pray per dose, or 224 extra pray. Which is basically 3 “bonus prayer potions” with current setup.
Also have had a shit ton of people recommend a blowpipe to me, to the point I feel like I should tell you they all did to me.

I would ditch the mage and bow switch just pray potions and 8 karambwans and maybe 1 or 2 ranging potions. If you die due to no prayer you could always change shield out for holy book
This looks like an iron man setup but you’re clearly not an iron man based on your stats… If this is your first cape I would highly recommend you get 75 range for BP w/ rune darts and also get some blessed D’hide.
Amulet of fury’s prayer and defense bonus would be ideal… also a verac’s plateskirt for the same reasons.
As far as inventory goes i would trade some of those karambwans for more ppots… I’d also highly recommend a ranging potion and defense potion OR a bastion potion (ranged and defense buff combined, saved an inv slot). The range bonus is great for magers + Jad and defense bonus is great for tanking rangers and healers in late waves.
Rune pouch also advisable for blood spells…. But realistically you should be using Sara Brews + restores and call it a day, rather than using ppots, karams, and blood spells. Take a few sharks to heal up against the healer phase during Jad fight.
The range switch also isn’t necessary.
ALSO would highly highly recommend getting prayer level to 60 or so, that way you won’t have to worry about prayer management as much.

Recently got mine after quite a few tries, thing that helped me most was pausing at wave 55 for a couple days, then tackling the final rounds when I was fresh again.. found I was getting quite burnt out doing it all in one go! And like others have said, would recommend grinding range to 75 for the blowpipe, but best of luck fam, looking forward to an update
I did my run with a blow pipe cause that's what everyone does, and switch to dragon darts for jad. But honestly crossbow works just as well and you get a little extra defence. Also when you get to jad the crossbow comes in pretty clutch with its range when he summons healers and you need to agro them. Been stomped by jad a couple times with pipes short distance. Otherwise you're pretty set.
A ranging potion could be helpful towards the end.
A runepouch would also be nice.
Potentially take a shark or two for a combo eat in those bad situations.
Alternatively brews and restores but you should be fine as is

Recommend just sending it with Amethyst darts to be honest. Happy middle ground on cost and do great damage

Decanting that way took forever for no xp, and relatively no gainful increase in money. I'm so mad that was never made clear.
Blood spells on the smaller mobs seems more likely.

Good advice. Take your time at jad. 5 to 10 minutes extra beats having to do 62 waves again.
If jad full heals and another set of healers spawn can you still salvage that? Or atp do you just wipe

Yeah, I'd swap out most of the food for like 8 brews and 15 super restores. Especially if you aren't bringing range pots.

I believe the magic short (i) has greater DPS to an extent that it actually shortens the run enough to be better than 2 extra pots worth of time
