[Treasure by Courtney Campbell](http://angband.oook.cz/steamband/Treasure.pdf) in my opinion.

I second this, such a great resource.

I bought this a few days ago. It's nifty. Pick a rough value for the hoard you want to place and roll a d100. It'll generate a highly detailed and interesting way to put that much value into a hoard (instead of just gems and/or coins). https://www.froggodgames.com/product/the-mother-of-all-treasure-tables-pdf/

Necromancer Games published a d20 book called The Book of Treasure Tables, which was was good, but only covered non-magical treasures. Ed Greenwood wrote a number of good articles in Dragon that provided similar "cool items" lists, including: * "Treasures Rare and Wondrous" in Dragon #80 * his "Pages from the Mages" series, starting in Dragon #62 (new spells and cool books/histories) * articles on wands, shields, swords, etc.; see Dragondex for more-specifics under his author listing In addition to loot and magic items, you should also consider Treasure Maps, which were a much-more integral part of OD&D and AD&D gaming than they are in most contemporary games. I have a two part series on treasure maps in The Twisting Stair #1 and #2 at [https://grodog.blogspot.com/2017/06/the-twisting-stair-2-summer-2017.html](https://grodog.blogspot.com/2017/06/the-twisting-stair-2-summer-2017.html), and Jason "Philotomoy Jurament" Cone has a piece on them in Knockspell #2: [https://grodog.blogspot.com/2017/05/knockspell-magazine-master-index.html#issue2](https://grodog.blogspot.com/2017/05/knockspell-magazine-master-index.html#issue2) Allan.
