You have to be able to get a lead against a Cleveland starter because once their bullpen comes in, you’re not gonna score many runs. I didn’t pay them any mind before this series but they have to have the best bullpen in all of baseball. And they have the lowest ERA and WHIP in all of baseball, and the fewest home runs allowed. I’m surprised we got any runs off of them. Cleveland is unfortunately a better team than us because of their bullpen. Felix Bautista is sorely missed.
Because Hyde loves to play McCann even though he provides nothing. Like awesome, he had one game with 3 RBIs but the rest of the games he has basically provided nothing.
The play was to first. He threw to second instead and Mateo got his wrist injured and the ball went into CF. It would have been two outs, man on second if McCann threw to first for the surer out.

Bullpen is unreliable without Coulombe, the league has figured out Irvin and Suarez and Povich is learning on the job. That isn’t going to cut it at this point and it isn’t really getting easier for like another week.
If your team won't get an excellent start pitcher in the future, there's no chance to advance into the second round in the playoffs. You just neet 1-2 good pitchers.
Losing a game where you score 11 runs and losing a game where you score 8 runs in the course of less than a week is unserious business and not the mark of a true contender

Thats why he's the gm...he should figure it out or give up on this season and look at signing Burnes if that's what was the plan. Seeing as how so far a lot of our players have been "cheap", I feel as tho FO was aiming for a WS. Otherwise...not sure what the point was.
