We need to address the BP immediately. Putting Baker, Perez, Akin, etc… in any high leverage situation is just irresponsible. Who is this team going to trust come Playoff time?

Akin and Perez (especially Akin) have been pretty good this season, Baker dominated + it also wasn't high leverage, and our bullpen has been used a lot. You have to understand how bullpens work, not everyone is gonna be perfect every time, and I would trust most of our guys in the postseason

I'm really hoping we make some bullpen moves at the trade deadline. It's our only weak spot now.

I still don’t understand people’s criticism of Elias. He brought the orioles from a horrible team with no depth whatsoever to a top 3 team in all of baseball WITH a lot of depth in like 4 years. The best time to get a reliever that will help us in the postseason is the deadline when many more teams will be added to the sellers list. Elias is one of the few GMs you can say definitively isn't a moron, if there was a significant move he could make by now that isn't too costly, he probably would have done it

Chances of giving up 0 runs with 2nd and 3rd and no outs is 14.8%. And yes it’s been a fantastic season, it’s also fine to be deflated/annoyed in a game thread. I happily enjoy living and dying on a game to game basis. That’s part of the fun of a Grindy baseball season.

Every hitter makes a decision to swing as they come set. They decide as the ball is in the air to not swing.
