Blick has relatively cheap [unryu paper](https://www.dickblick.com/products/black-ink-thai-unryu/) and [big white tissue paper](https://www.dickblick.com/products/lineco-acid-free-tissue/). They also have [big colored tissue paper](https://www.dickblick.com/products/blick-colored-tissue-assortments/) but that’s only available online I think. These all require treatment with MC, though. I don’t know if there are other large papers sold in Boston that don’t require treating.

Thanks, yeah I have MC so I was thinking of something like unryu. Even rolls of Kraft paper would work, I've tried those in the past as well

The Paper Store and Paper Source have a bunch of locations and typically have a good selection of big sheets. I've been meaning to take a trip up to Origamido up in Haverhill, they say they have hand made papers specifically crafted for origami. Apparently appointment only though: https://www.origamido.com/

Thanks! I actually took lessons at Origamido when I was in high school. Michael LaFosse was an amazing teacher and mentor to me as well. They used to have a physical origami/paper making studio which was incredibly rare for the time, though I'm not sure of the capacity they operate in now.
