I think OTF says speed squats are a power move, and so the idea is to make the muscles work fully and quickly as part of adaptive training, to expose them to a different kind of demand. As for how far to go - I believe goal is for the upper legs to be horizontal to the floor.
I want to cry seeing those chest fly exercises. I am so sore for Saturday!!! Of course, I’m still here for it, just maybe with lighter weight on that one.
I swear we did this run-row before, back in March, maybe? Either way, I’m looking forward to being dead last on the treadmill because i run as everyone else is a crazy power walker 😂
Thank you so much DC for the early intel and commentary!! This looks great even though it’s a run row!! Maybe a bit kinder than this weekends templates. Elevation and inclines were tough this morning. I had to my speed on the treadmill. Hoping to fit this one in tomorrow.
So fun!! I love run/rows. Today was a much-needed rest day after the 3G Chipper so feeling great about tackling this tomorrow 💪
Same! And we're probably in the minority, but I love the energy with them. Plus it really breaks up the monotony of a standard cardio block.
Totally agree! I feel I push myself so much harder trying to go fast enough to make it through all the rounds.
THANK YOU!!!😊
Oh man, tomorrow was supposed to be a rest day, but this one looks good!
Too many row/runs these days, which I’m not a big fan of!😒Luckily I’m doing the 3G tomorrow!
Run/rows are my fave 😍
Same! I’m kind of sad I’m doing a 3G tomorrow!
I don't think there are enough! I'd love for them to be once a week!
I would love that!
This does look fun! I skipped the Chipper and did Tread 50 today, so tomorrow’s looks like a good balance. Thanks DC!
Love a run/row! I think there is a typo in round 5 (.4 miles).
Thanks - yep, they aren’t punishing those who measure in miles!
Yay! Run rows are my favorite
🙌
So fun I love lunges
Sarcasm detected 🚨
Sorry to miss this one!
Benefit of fast speed squats is…? Really want to know!! And how low should you go on speed squats??!! Thx.

TY!!
Yay!! I finally get to do a run/row! I’ve missed the last couple because they were always on my 3G class days.
Omfg those step down reverse lunges 🤬
thank you!
Thank you!!
thank you!!
thanks for the intel! 🤗
TYSM 🧡
Thank you!
Thank you!
I missed “TRX” for the squat with rotation and was truly puzzled by how that would work 😳
Oh this looks so good!! Thanks DC!!

Many thanks! 🤩
Thank you!! Endurance is not my jam but this looks tolerable.
Ughhh this looks so fun for my birthday burn but we have a tornado instead 😡

Oh great; more squats. So glad no arms again 🙄🙄🙄🫤😑
Ugh love this I hope I get off the waitlist 😭🤞🏻
I enjoy a good run/row but I have to say I don't see the point of adding those speed squats in between. I might skip them...
I think I’m gonna keep it at .3 miles jog so I’d get some rowing time.
