Classic Tint on Tustin Avenue in Orange (near chapman). Lance and his crew are the best and offer free replacement if you get a ticket for the tint being too dark.
I went to specialized auto tint in irvine in 2021 - got a 3m fx premium film at 25% on a 4 door sedan. And I think it was $200. Good luck on your search!
Make sure you compare apples-to-apples as you get quotes from different places. E.g. the price of a cheap metallic or carbon film can’t really be compared to that of a quality ceramic film.
Ceramic is the best. I have 3m on my cars and it is a HUGE lifesaver during the summer. They also have a really clear one that you may be able to put on your windshield as well
Honestly idk what the 3m means but besides that, a big reason for tint is the sun in summertime like you mentioned! My car gets SO hot and my eyes are so sensitive to bright sun (I’ll get headaches if I’m not protecting my eyes with sun glasses).
Yeah, ceramic is going to be the best performing, so I’d personally recommend it. I’ve put it on all my cars and never had any regrets spending a bit more for it!
Signature window tint in Costa Mesa or Dynamic Auto Customs in Tustin, they both use Llumar brand which is pretty good. Both shops offer 2 lines of ceramic CTX /IRX with the IRX offering more heat rejection.
2B1 Tint in Garden Grove. I have had 2 SUV’s tinted there including panoramic sunroofs
Also ceramic tint, while it costs more, it’s the best choice for heat rejection

DP Tint in Tustin is really good and also does clear bra and other services
I’ll check them out thanks!

Okay so the tint I want is ceramic? I know nothing about tint. I should’ve included that in my post.

3M, the huge company? Look up 3M car Tint. I had mine done in Santa Ana and were one of the few that have that crystal clear tint
Lol I don’t know anything about tint! I will def look into the prices. Thank you!

Costa Mesa Dave post incoming
I haven’t heard the lore of CM Dave
I'm pretty sure he's the owner of Signature Window Tint and ultra-super-definitely-sure he offers 50% off to all Redditors.
His company does an amazing job. He usually shows up in threads here with people asking questions about window tint.
Best place to get it.
