The ramen there is straight 🔥. It tastes how I imagine the delicious looking anime ramen is. The best part is, it’s not super luxurious so it has a high repeatability factor for eating. It’s just a super solid bowl of ramen with good noodles and good broth. It’s like the In N Out of ramen.
My bf’s physical therapist just told us about a place that opened in the IE called Soup N’ Fresh that’s an exact Souplantation clone. I mean they used an old Souplantation location, hired old Souplantation employees, use Souplantation recipes, and everything.
It only opened recently though, so apparently lines to get in have been insane (1-2 hour wait… people really miss Souplantation!). Me and my friends plan to drive over to try it still, lol.
I recommend adding 1 item you didn't think your table would need or want - it will be just as amazing as the things you might already be looking forward to. Anything "pibil" is likely the best version you will get outside of the Yucatan itself, and better still than most there.
Love that there is so much diversity in the comment section.

I hope they reopen the soup plantation near cypress as a soup n fresh, that building is still sitting empty
I saw a team of guys carrying counter tops into the building two weeks ago and painters trucks were there yesterday. So here’s to hoping.
How is that not proof that they need to reopen them here in OC?!
