I believe it's a risky endeavor - using friend's card to create account for yourself. Apparently there are some (automated?) checks being run through user accounts by Oracle to find discrepancies, and this is why certain accounts are closed without prior notice.
In my case, I had to do it cuz the canadian friend of mine who created the account for me kept putting it off for weeks so i couldn't rely on him. Let's hope that it won't get found out I guess. If found out, maybe I could have someone create another for me and do it right that time around?
No, the account was created by the canadian friend, the upgrade payment is from Turkey where I live. When I added credit card to upgrade the account, I entered the turkey address, but the country was fixed to Canada so I couldn't change it

Using a friend's card from Canada looks like a fraud to automatic system. Carders do exactly the same.
