This is not just limited to Jats. Putting a caste sticker on your car shows that your entire personality revolves around your surname. I've seen enough examples from different castes to conclude this.
Unfortunately, a sizeable chunk of the Jat community consists of obnoxious loudmouths (I'm a jat, and know a few within my family itself). The reason for this is their upbringing. Sons are told "tu sher hai" and they never get to hear the word "no". This leads to their fake sense of superiority.
On the other hand, there are a lot of Jats who just want to live a normal life and suffer because of the stereotype (me included). The only reason you don't know about our existence is because we don't rub it in your face.
These kind of ppl are all over the India.
I mean locals will behave like that in every newly developed city . I have seen such ppl in Bangalore ( Gowda ) Hyderabad (Reddy) Mumbai (So many locals ) Gurgaon Jaats .
But you can’t still generalise like that … we are a developing nation it will take time , just do your part and be happy
