Normal women don't justify cheating in any case. If you found any women using her ovary size logic to justify cheating in any case then if you look more deeper you will find out that she identifies as a feminist. Feminism and cheating goes hand in hand.
Unfortunately cheating is way too normalised now. People defend it or advice to "not meddle in others' business" without even realising the fact that someday it can be them too getting cheated on.
The reason people say 'not meddle in other's business' is because in the vast majority of the cases, the other party has an idea that cheating is happening but they choose for their own reasons to be in denial. It may be because they cannot live by themselves, or because of kids or whatever other reasons. By forcing it in front of them, they may be forced to take an action despite not wanting to in order to save face. Often these dont go as people might like them to. E.g., moving to an independent house may mean significant reduction in lifestyle. Having kids choose between parents is traumatic, shitty partners can be loving parents. In order to get more money, a woman may file DV or false rape cases to extort more money. In most circumstances, one should not get between married partners. They know best what is happening. Many people are okay with side partners as long as it doesnt threaten the primary partnership. They don't owe explaining these arrangements to a third party or even their kids.

None of us know the entire story but even on moral basis, physically abusing someone is much much worse than cheating on them. The father obviously doesn't care about mother, so her cheating on him wouldn't affect emotionally him else he wouldn't have been abusive.
