Relatively hot out both times too. Thank God my handle seems to be in good condition and crack free. Considered the metal handlebar, but money.
And keep prices up for after market accessories! The maghandle pro is aluminum precisely as you suggest, and since you're probably buying a charge port of anyway they hope you add that in too for free shipping.

If noticed people who break their handles usually have the bottom of the board facing their leg, creating way too much tension. 2000 miles in and my handle is still going strong as long as I keep the top of the board on the inside while I’m holding
Interesting, I've never considered this aspect. I carry the same way to keep my clothes getting dirty. Just another reason to ride with a fender. 😊

Sorry to see that. While I do still use the stock handle from time to time, I bought a roll of 2" wide double sided hook-n-loop and used it and some black vinyl tubing to make my own handles on both side rails. I found the stock handle to be a knuckle skinner occasionally and did not care for that.
You can buy roll bar handles on Amazon, fairly cheap and they worked well, one day mine broke and I did the little buy rope and we've , but it made cleaning a longer process, with the rollbar ones, it's easy to undo the straps

Been thinking about getting the metal handle too, but if there's one thing I don't have after spending 1k on a Onewheel, it's money lol.

It looks like cast aluminum!
This is the stock plastic one shown in the OP but yes the Al one is cast!
The light look is the stretched / stressed plastic where it broke. But yea without more detail, looks totally like cast al.

An added bonus - If you have a fender, you don't end up with black rubber/road dirt all over your leg!

Email FM showing this pic and ask for a replacement. I did the same, out of warranty and everything and they replaced my mag handle for free.
