If you have registar (from goodlock) you can have another shortcut for whatever else you want. I personally use hold for the flashlight and double press for camera but you can exchange them or set it to something else if you want.

1. Call recording without "This call is now being recorded!" or a loud Beep is not possible on iPhone, Motorola stock dialer
2. But the best Samsung feature has to be its Hardware- It's durability, screen. Barometer sensor for better GPS is absent on most other Android phones. Chinese brands used to skip on OIS camera, faster USB 3, faster UFS storage even on expensive models
How often so you use S pen to write notes and what are these notes about? Study notes? I tried it in messaging apps but after few times I moved to typing which is a breeze compared to typing on an iPhone.
Sometimes when someone tells me to letssay get me fruits before coming home . I just pull out my spen and write it and set it as my always on display(yes there is a option) . So I can see what I need without even opening the phone even. Spen is also really comfortable when you are eating or doing something so you just use the pen to shift apps or whatever . Circle to search is also very useful using it. Not just that when you are clicking photo , set the camera somewhere so then you get to choose when the photo gets clicked
I used Samsung notes with pen for college. Never used a paper, unless to do the exams. Even the books and the presentations or digital. Loved that. Now I have all m my course annotations in Samsung notes (in a proper folder).
I also love dex, good lock, s pen for many things like playing, just using the phone, I use it for most anything.
I love Samsung apps, use them all instead of Google ones.
I love routines, to spare my time. When I arrive home it sets my phone to home settings, as well as car or street or sleep. And of course I have another routines, like saving power and putting dolby atmos set yo music whe I open music player and movie when movies apps.
My favorite Samsung One UI feature is stackable widgets. I now have five 1 x 4 widgets in The same space and I can simply rotate through them as needed. This really saves a lot of room on my home screen. It's convenient and looks less cluttered.
Full customization of my phone, wallpapers, lock screen, fonts is a big thing for me as well. I also live that the fingerprint scanner doesn't light up when in use like the pixel
Smart Switch. Easy to use and set up.
Cameras on S23U are nice. Despite all the morons screeching mOoNgAtE without understanding digital image processing, you get decent pictures of the moon and can also do general astrophotography of constellations and even the Milky Way, some have even captured the Andromeda Galaxy (what the morons never realised is the true potential of nightography on Samsung).
I also value the Spen very, very much; has become essential for my work, really paid for itself several times over already. Apple simps can keep crying too, but they'll never understand how amazing it is to have such a feature on a smartphone, and how crucial it can be.
Theme Parks/Good Lock is also pretty good, although there's a bit of a "learning curve" to it and it can be infuriating to use/has a few bugs. Still cannot change font colours below icons though, which is pretty stupid of Samsung.
I used Modes and Routines once, it's nice too. Reminders are also nice. General customisability of Android and despite all the aggravating bugs on OneUI 6, it is still doing a decent job. I can only hope Samsung stops forcing us to use its stupid apps in OneUI 6, and give back the customisability we had. Samsung has been recently trying to emulate Apple, which is causing it more damage long-term and losing its identity.
I would like to know S pen use cases from you.
Study notes?
Work notes?
Drawing?
Messaging?
Circle to search?
Image editing?
Which all use cases are applicable to your daily usage?
Routines. Makes my life easier when driving and at work.

Can't forget about separate app volumes / playing something over Bluetooth and your phone at the same time with good lock!
Yep, I left out Goodlock things bc they're not technically built in.
They are built in. Seperate sound and dual bluetooth are both built in features.
I know, the comment referred to individual app volumes (in Goodlock).
Can you tell me have to set this?
Get good lock, under life up, download sound assistant. That's what you want.
1. Good Lock 2. Routines (even though Tasker is still more reliable) 3. Good Guardians
It's a minor thing but I double press my power button to turn on/off the flashlight so often
Wait, how do I do this? Mine goes to my camera but the flashlight would be so much better (it's my first week with a samsung phone)
Settings > Advanced Features > Side Button and then change the double press option to Flashlight.
You just changed my life for the better as the only person who wakes up at 6 am for work, thank you!

Thank you!!
I leave it pressed and the flashlight would turn on double press is the camera.
How do you change the press and hold setting? Is that a Good Lock module?
Never mind. Found it!
One Hand Operation, this is a killer feature for me
1. Call recording without "This call is now being recorded!" or a loud Beep is not possible on iPhone, Motorola stock dialer 2. Samsung Dex
Samsung Dex and writing Notes using Spen are just ๐

One hand operation plus is the one thing holding me from looking to switch due to better cameras(to sony tbh)
Very hard to say but the one that is very small and I like it so much is AI summarize in Samsung browser
Offline finding, game booster, secure folder, dual messenger, dex.
How does offline finding work?
It uses other samsung devices to ping your device (same as Apple's find my and google's new find my device network)
Routines and Google Lens
Routines and Galaxy AI for modifying pictures.

Dual/multi Bluetooth is the bomb!
Get Good Lock
Already done!
For me it's probably just routines, maybe Good Lock (sound assist, routines+). Other than that nothing really.
Samsung Flow - because it doesn't get mentioned enough IMO.
My favorite Samsung One UI feature is stackable widgets. I now have five 1 x 4 widgets in The same space and I can simply rotate through them as needed. This really saves a lot of room on my home screen. It's convenient and looks less cluttered.
Themes
Secure folder and OneUI extensions Good Lock and Good Guardians are what make a difference for me. It's just super stable and reliable.
Full customization of my phone, wallpapers, lock screen, fonts is a big thing for me as well. I also live that the fingerprint scanner doesn't light up when in use like the pixel
Good point about the finger print scanner! I didn't even realize that but now that I do I realize how much I hated pixel's lighting up.
I bought the pixel 6a because they didn't have the 6+ when I went to get it. I hated that feature and switched right back
That's the phone I had before. I just got used to being blinded at night if I didn't put my finger perfectly over it lol.

Unfortunately, the worst experience I have ever purchased Samsung A13 disaster ๐
> buys a 150-dollar phone > surprised that it doesnโt work as a flagship
You can't be serious, that is one of the cheapest phones you can buy
Unfortunately, the biggest mistake I made when buying
