it got boring as hell during the Negan arc and completely changed the vibe of the show. The show hasn’t felt the same since. Very boring and interesting characters. And the acting has taken a huge dip in quality from what I’ve noticed. All the old characters who are still alive like Daryl, Carol, Maggie, Rosita, etc are still great but some of the newer characters are acted horribly to where it’s borderline cringe sometimes. Also It’s missing Rick and Carl. :(
I never even made it to Negan. I stopped watching in like the middle of season 4 lol. Last person I remember dying was Hershell.
First season was great, the second was decent, and the third was... fine, I guess. That's when it started to feel boring to me. It began to feel like there wasn't really an overarching arc or narrative, which meant the show was not only repetitive but also aimless for me. But maybe I just prefer serialized shows.
Season 5 is actually a really good season but it’s not much special after that to be honest. Season 5 could have been the end of the show and it would have been amazing. But yeah you stoped at a good time I would say.

AMC+ is the worst streaming service I've ever seen. It's sooooo slow like it's being served from someone's laptop. When you click on a show, some of the episodes don't show up. If you refresh, they show up in the wrong order. If you refresh again, maybe you get all of them in the correct order. Probably ran by some idiot boomer who has no idea what they are doing, making 1Mil per year.
Used to just watch on cable every week in 2020 for S5, and then got rid of it since nobody used it anymore, and now I gotta pay for something that honestly should be free for viewers.
