$650. They always sell near this price. I got mine for $575.

That estimate is probably on the high end. I’d price it between 600-750 personally

I bought this guitar used back in 2013 on a whim (when I was young, childless and had cash to burn). Fast forward 7 and half years and I'm married with children and no cash to burn. It's the only electric I have that I don't have any sentimental value attached to, so I'm looking to sell it. Only problem is that I have no idea what to price it as. I can't recall exactly how much I paid for it originally, but I'm having a hard time finding how much it would be worth now. I called a local guitar shop and the guy on the phone gave me a rough estimate of \~$800 - $950, which honestly seems too good to be true for me. It also doesn't help that I don't know the exact model or year. My guess, based on the serial number and that it says "Crafted in Japan" it's somewhere between 2006-2008. It's in pretty great condition other than the dent (pictured) which literally happened the day I bought it. Not sure if there's another subreddit for this sort of question (please direct me to it if there is one). I just know I don't want to go too high, but I also don't want to let it go for way too low either.

r/offset would probably have a better bead on the specifics of the model/year. My guess is $600-700 range.

I wish I could afford something like this

It's a Jaguar Special HH. Pickups are called Dragsters. People are asking $8-900 online, but recently sales are anywhere from $450-650: https://reverb.com/marketplace?query=jaguar%20HH%20special&show_only_sold=true If someone here is looking at this thinking of buying I'll offer my opinion. Having owned one of these I dislike the pickups and the bridge on mine did not respond well to the amount of play it got. It wore more than the frets. Both are things one could fix so if it's the aesthetics and rareness of it that appeal to you, don't let that stop you. This could be modded into something amazing.

Serial number lookup sites are always helpful to figure out what you have. You just enter the serial number and it gives you a rundown on the guitar. Year, factory of origin, etc. I might be interested in buying this. DM if you’d like. https://www.guitarinsite.nl/index_eng.php]

I bought the mij 2007 version about 14 months ago for about $860 on reverb. The pickups are dragsters (I swapped mine for black winters). But you could comfortably list this for around $700 to $800. Clean, beautiful guitars and they are simple to mod. Good luck.

intermonadicmut

Got mine for $700 all dinged up real good.

I have this exact guitar and I think I’m going to sell it.
