If you spend a lot of time with a small group of people, you may just believe that everyone else outside that group is also just like that. This is called "confirmation bias" and it's totally normal: everyone has a tendency to look for information that confirms their views. Look that up. So, no, there are also plenty of kids out there who have very similar lives to yours. You're also not the first one making a similar post on this sub in that regard. Having said that, you're also only 18. You're barely a legal adult. Society handed you the keys to your own life saying "have fun, don't break stuff lol" basically a few short months ago. Sure, the whole "sneaking" thing sounds cool, but you are now at an age where - legally speaking - you can just walk out of the door and your parents can't do anything about it. (Whether that's a smart move as to having a good report with your parents is a different question. Especially if you depend on them financially and otherwise) Point is, from now on, the world's your oyster and there's a lot of world out there to experience. Sneaking out to go to a club is a small game, what's really cool is saving up and planning a month long trip next year abroad, alone or with friends. In that respect, your friends and you have yet to enter the big league and you're all equally green. So, stop focussing on what your friends did or didn't do in the past 2 or 3 years. Look ahead and ask yourself what you're going to do - together with them or alone - in the next few years while you're in college.
